Being Muslim is just too inconvenient
 

Every morning at 5am the mosque 1 km away starts singing their heads off that muslim chanting crap.. it's not like they're doing it inside their mosque, they must be required to have a loudspeaker on top or something too..

anyhow, other than annoying the shit out of me, how inconvenient that must be to go worship a ghost all the time and wear funny sheets as clothes or on their heads... this is the only time i hear them because it's so quiet this time of night but don't muslims do this a few times a day?

i mean, if you're going to pick a religion, at least make it convenient and so you don't have to wear silly outfits in public!

anyhow, that there's my racialististically-regilionisticallyiest charged post for the day! i feel better now.

Is it any wonder that even with cash pouring into their countries from oil revenues, there are not a lot of Muslim countries you want to visit? 5 times a day and all of the other restrictions and it seems insane to want to be Muslim in todays world.

Edit - Having said that, the muslims I know don't do any of this stuff and you can't tell them from anyone else.

I pray to the Hindu elephant god Ganesh every night before bed in an ironic atheist OCD Baseball player superstition kind of way. (I did it just before I got my first gig as an artist so I figured I'd keep going with it. Plus Hindu religious icons look really fly.)
