Who would have thought that FIAT would have been the company that is going to Save Chrysler from bankruptcy.

Thanks to its CEO FIAT has dramatically changed from a mediocre to poorly made cars to Efficient,Green, technologically advanced and appealing car manufacturer.

Fiat did make one of the quickest cars ever -- the Uno Turbo. It smoked pretty much everything (except for perhaps a Lancia Integrale). There are not many left, as most of them ended up getting wrapped around trees, etc.

wow, the fiat has changed. i remember this guy in my early 20's was the bomb in my hometown because he had a fiat. i didn't think it was super hot then. the alfa romeo on the other hand - so nice.

I used to own a 2.4 Fiat Dino 1970 ( know as a poor mans Ferrari ) Wish i still had it as they are selling for $50,000 in good condition :error

I do not think the plan is to have Chrysler build Fiat motors to sell in North America -- but rather the use of Fiat technology by Chrysler to make a new generation of cars that until now, they have been unable to manufacture (smaller and more efficient)

At the moment Chrysler = piece of shit cars nobody drive

Fiat never had a great reputation, however they own Alpha Romeo and those my friends are great cars. They have won several "car of the year awards" the past 10 years in europe..

and Alpha drivers say: If you want to go fast and straight, then German cars are great, but if you want to drive fast and make turns, then you gotta drive Alpha Romeo... they hug the street like no other..
