wow I just got a 250 gig external hd for $60
I havent bought an external harddrive in 5 years, I cant believe how cheap they are
I got this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822111026 at MicroCenter and there was a $20 off sale so it was $59.99 I ust opened it now, its about the size of an iphone, a tiny bit bigger. 250 Gigs. and not only that but they dont require a powercord anymore. Theyre powered right through the usb bus. I cant believe how much has changed.

$60 for 250 is too much you coulda found a better deal.
Yes they don't require power but some of them require 2 usb plugs very close together. or at least 1 high power usb. |

I got a Seagate 1.5 TB SATA drive for $117 on Wednesday.and a case to use it externally at Fry's in Plano, TX (just north of Dallas).
The sale was supposed to end Thursday. |

yup thats a laptop hard drive tossed in a case, I've bought 700Gb drives in the $70 range a few times.
