It's supposed to help city congestion, but I don't really see that happening. A crazy cabbie vs that thing and that thing is toast in any sort of accident. I could see it being used on golf courses and in old age communities.

based that solely on aesthetics, segways are lame. They're probably very useful for some people.

WTF is the fascination with it balancing on two wheels. Put two little front wheels on it and it will cost 90% less. But then you would just have a regular golf cart, which is what it is.

The Segway inventor has been trying to make his creation profitable for years and it's done nothing but lose money. Maybe because travelling on 4 wheels is cheaper and much more practical. I love the technology itself and it has great uses, but this is not one of them.

Let's hope government bailout money is never put toward manufacturing something like this, in the new green economy I keep hearing about :1orglaugh
