Will I make more money by charging less?
 

I noticed that when I was charging $4.95/month for premium access on my freesite I was getting a good amount of steady signups, then when I raised it to $6.95 the signups all but stopped.

Im about to send a mailing out and wondering if I should drop it back down to $4.95/month before sending this out.

Maybe its the Walmart mentality that when you charge dirt cheap prices people will pay easier

In some cases if the price is too low it can scare people off.

well 4.95 is a common price, whereas 6.95 just looks odd. 9.99 might even perform better than 6.95.

I agree that $6.95 is kind of an odd price in comparison. Are you making more money with it overall? You may want to do some testing in 2-4 week increments.
