Privacy and Social Media/Networking haven't exactly been bosom buddies during the past 2 years. Expect more hiccups down the road.

Squatting on the username... hehe... just pissin all over it, or pushing porn from it maybe?

it is kind of bullshit of them to handle it that way though

how can they judge who owns the name on such a casual basis?

If I had the twitter "BritneySpears", would they just give it to the famous Britney Spears including my email and details, without 100% performing due diligence to ensure that my name wasn't also Britney Spears? and without giving me any right to defence?

should they give @porn to the porn.com people without any thought?

how about where 4 different people own a domain prefix, one with .com, one .net, .org, .info etc..... if the .com guy contacts twitter will they just give him the name?

that is extreme bullshit though for them to hand over any of her info, email or otherwise, the communication should be handled internally
