Is there a trick to get a new Ipod touch to turn on?
 

I plugged my ipod touch into the usb pory....all I see is a picture of a usb plug going into a button that says itunes.....And then it turns right off.....

It's only been charging for maybe 10 minutes so will it work later or should I go back to Best Buy?

I think you have to wrap it in plastic and slide it up your ass for a few hours to warm it up. Or you could try charging it for at least a couple of hours, which would probably hurt less...

You need to find a "bokar" (voodoo evil magician) and bring him some sea salt and a live chicken...he will then sacrifice the chicken and mark your iPod to animate it, but make sure he draws a circle in the ground around himself with the salt first. If not, then it's a trick and he will likely try to turn you into a zombie (not the stinky, flesh-eating kind, more the "totally his bitch" kind, which is way less cool!)

It probably just needs to charge. Otherwise, the button at the bottom center turns it on. The power switch at the top is for turning it off.

Well I see that I had to sync it with itunes to get it to work....This device is fucking AMAZING!!!

you can use the bottom button to wake it up, and the top button to either wake up, put to sleep or turn off. i usually put mines to sleep.

I love my itouch! Visit the apps store and you will see there are a bunch of awesome free apps.
