Lakers Road to the Title Wont Depend on The Cavs or Celtics.. It will depend on :

The Blazers....

boneprone 04-10-2009 07:03 PM

Of all the teams holding them back in the West I think its the Blazers that will be the only challenge.

boneprone 04-10-2009 07:04 PM

This thread calls for a Blazer Dancer Pic.

I heart Lebron James..

bdld 04-10-2009 07:20 PM

i'll agree that the lakers cant win in portland, but lakers have home court and i dont think portland can win in LA.

brassmonkey 04-10-2009 07:30 PM

fuck the lakers

notoldschool 04-10-2009 08:34 PM

Cavs got it this year. Lebron is better than Kobe.

Matt 26z 04-10-2009 08:58 PM

The Celtics may be just as vulnerable in the first round as the 67 win 2007 Mavs.

They will play either PHI, CHI or DET in the first round. The Pistons and Bulls are better than their record suggests and could knock Boston off if everything is going just right for them.

Lebron is averaging just 1.7 fouls per game in 38 min. That's not to mention he constantly travels and is never called for it. The refs are protecting him more than any other superstar in league history.

In 12 of the 20 games since then, James has been called for one or zero fouls in a game. James had a stretch of five straight games to conclude March averaging 36.8 minutes per game without being called for one foul. Not one in five games! In the last nine games, James has been called for three personal fouls. It's really amazing given the involvement James has in the action of the game.

"It's impossible," said one team executive.

Yeah we all know the ref's have a secret pact to not call traveling on LBJ

Lebron is playing better then Kobe no doubt but Lakers team smokes the Cavs.

Raf1 04-11-2009 12:04 AM

yeah, that might be how it will go down this year

boneprone 04-11-2009 12:24 PM

Lakers better not overlook my blazers.
We are the most under rated team in the League. Young and explosive.

OY 04-11-2009 01:05 PM

It is nice to have dreams BP.

boneprone 04-11-2009 01:10 PM

Of all the teams to fear in the west the Lakers need to not overlook the Blazers.

boneprone 04-11-2009 01:18 PM

We will come back to this thread soon.

Not true at all. I think cleveland has better role players that set up alot like the Bulls of the 90s. Lakers have a bunch of sissy boys.

BTW Kobe has gotten away with walking and not getting called for fouls for YEARS! That is how ALL super stars get treated. Lebron has better passing skills, court awareness, touch, size, strength, blah blah blah..i could go on for days. All Kobe excels at is scoring while copying Michael Jordans every move including his speach.

V_RocKs 04-11-2009 02:57 PM

Not after San Antonia takes them out...

cosis 04-11-2009 08:58 PM

Just like I said.... lol

gmr324 05-01-2009 04:29 PM

I think Kobe has a better supporting cast then Lebron
If Lebron ever got injured, the Cavs wouldn't even have made it into the playoffs at all

JustDaveXxx 05-01-2009 04:40 PM

Go Lakers!!!!

TyroneGoldberg 05-01-2009 04:46 PM

it depends on stern.

it's going to be lakers and cavs. why? they hyped it to be. like last year, all season you saw 'ads' of the lakers and celts from back in the days

stop being sheep, the nba is the most rigged of sports

if you're betting man, place cash on this lakers/cavs.
the cavs will win, kobe will allow this(no saying the refs called the game wrong, etc), because stern helped him beat the rape charge.

V_RocKs 05-01-2009 05:36 PM

I guess this wasn't a lock...?

I dont believe that for one second...as a matter of fact i think lebron deminishes what the cavs can do offensively by holding and pounding the ball so much. I've watched every single cavs game this year and many times they have taken or increased the lead when he is on the bench. Last year your statement would have been true but not this year. Esp. with the addition of Mo, plus Delonte, Andy V. and Z have improved offensively.

xxxdesign-net 05-01-2009 10:22 PM

I hope boneprune didnt bet the house on this one.. :(

Drake 05-01-2009 11:07 PM
