How often do u wash dishes?

Do you really wash them after every meal or do you just do them at the end of the day? Or end of the week?

Anyone so lazy that they only use paper plates so they don't have to wash anything at all?

Spunky 04-10-2009 09:15 PM

Every time,,hate the mess

420 04-10-2009 09:26 PM

papill0n 04-10-2009 09:42 PM

I wash my dishes every night.

Ladies take note I am house trained!!

Socks 04-10-2009 09:44 PM

I cook, so the kitchen never stays clean for long.. It doesn't stay dirty for long either.. Vicious cycle really.

The key is to wash a few dishes when you have a second while you cook, so in the end the pile isn't so big.

Barefootsies 04-10-2009 09:45 PM

Next to never.

That is why I have a dishwasher, or the cleaning lady.

:2 cents:

Supz 04-10-2009 09:49 PM

I'm a weirdo but I actually store half my clean dishes in the dishwasher so i never even use it.
I don't know why I do this... It's a habit I guess. Whenever the dish container basket thing gets
full i just put the newly washed dishes in the dishwasher because im lazy and it's easier to do this vs
putting it in the cupboard.

You physically put clean dishes in the dishwasher for later use? Sometimes my clean dishes stay in the dishwasher for awhile and get used as needed... but putting clean dishes in is pretty odd.

WarChild 04-10-2009 10:10 PM

You have some serious issues.

That's what my wife and I do.

Whoever cooks, also cleans and it does help to do the dishes as you cook. Clean kitchen here.

Corleone 04-10-2009 10:46 PM

Raf1 04-10-2009 11:24 PM

Yea, after I wash clean dishes I put them in the dishwasher, I use it for storage I guess. Actually my mom used to do it this way too. One of my ex's moms did it this way too. I know a lot of people who do it this way. It's not THAT weird.

bobby666 04-11-2009 12:11 AM

usually at the end of the year

kmanrox 04-11-2009 12:15 AM

never, our maids do it for us. sometimes late at night i have to fill my water bottles though.. i drink water like a fish...

polish_aristocrat 04-11-2009 03:00 AM

Dishwasher is more important for me than TV.

I live alone, I wash the dishes around 2-3 times per week...

edit: but i don't really cook for myself, I order food or buy take-away food, don't eat regular meals either..

umbralui 04-11-2009 03:13 AM

I wash the dishes after i/we finished eating, I feel much better when I see around me all immaculate

Farang 04-11-2009 03:32 AM

I don't eat at home. I only have redbull and milk in my fridge :thumbsup

VicD 04-11-2009 03:38 AM

My fridge is EMPTY 99% of the time - I shop at LEAST once a day, its the Jackie Chan diet - watched him once talking about how and what you should eat, he said something like "if you want a burger you should earn the right to eat one" - like walk to the burger place instead of driving, or don't buy the food from the nearest shop, walk a few miles to the next one....

I know - kinda weird, but I would've been 300 times fatter if I didn't do so much walking every day.

thinkhype 04-13-2009 07:22 AM

Used to only do it once a week, but since I got myself a dishwasher, oh man...

pornguy 04-13-2009 07:27 AM

Lunch and dinner if the maid did not come that day.

Manowar 04-13-2009 07:40 AM

twice a day, dishwasher

thats about twice as much as me, congrats!

thundergasm 04-13-2009 07:51 AM

I do them religiously as I cannot stand even a spoon in the sink. I use bleach on all the counters and spray sweep floors etc. Just keep it up and the task only takes a few minutes. Let it go and it'll take hours.

romeo22 04-13-2009 07:53 AM

No I dont My mam does ...I still live with my parents!

Honestly it is one of the weirdest things I have read lately. You understand the use of a dishwasher and I assume you have cupboards so why confuse the issue? And also forces you to do dishes by hand which is odd in itself if you have a dishwasher...

My maid does them during the week and the dishwasher is used once on the weekends but we don;t cook so it is just for glasses or the odd plate.

Furious_Female 04-13-2009 08:01 AM

Shortly after using them. I hate messes and clutter. Especially sticky or stinky things.

Tom_PM 04-13-2009 08:48 AM

Pots n pans rarely sit long, dishes go in the dishwasher when dirty, and usually once a week I run it. Maybe twice.
It's funny sometimes that all of the pans and dishes and utensils and machines used to prepare a meal.. it takes 3 times the time to cook and clean up than it does to eat the damn meal, lol.

vidvicious 04-13-2009 11:39 AM

best investment ever ... dishwasher!

CyberHustler 04-13-2009 11:45 AM

Paper plates, cups, and plastic spoons & shit. I hate washing dishes and so does everybody I live with. We have a dishwasher, but we never use it.

Edit: if we absolutely have to use a dish (pots and shit) it gets washed by the person who used it as soon as their done with it.

Sarah_Jayne 04-13-2009 11:46 AM

Whenever my husband doesn't hold up his end of the deal and do them. So, every night.

I do minor wash up after lunch too.

Meeper 04-13-2009 11:49 AM

I always try and do them the day I use them, but sometimes I get lazy.

Kiwigirl 04-13-2009 11:58 AM

At least twice a day as I cook often. I have a dishwasher but prefer to conserve water and be environmentally friendly. I also recycle plastics and papers. LOL

You're also cute... lets get together sometime and do sex?

Sosa 04-13-2009 12:07 PM

Every couple of days when the dish washer is full.

Vicious_B 04-13-2009 12:12 PM

I cook, my fiance puts the leftovers away and my son does the dishes. I will clean up some as I go along also.

Jakez 04-13-2009 12:15 PM

I use paper plates whenever possible, normal silverware. I find it's a lot easier to just wash a couple of things after each meal OR at the end of the day, than to let them pile up or put them in a dishwasher and have to unload it after it is finished.

TondaB 04-13-2009 12:18 PM

I do dishes 3 times a day. Sometimes more...
