I WON my first DMCA case today + Dupe Content tools
 

Their site has been taken down. It was a total rip of one of mine, all 4000 odd pages were scraped.

Hopefully that's the end of it, but with thieves, it's unlikely :Oh crap

Anyone looking to check their site / content, I recommend copyscape.com. articlechecker.com is also good - allows you to set google alerts when dupe content is found. :thumbsup

No, the initial standard filing was enough for the host to get the willies :1orglaugh

We hadn't encountered it before, so wrote to the registrar (no joy at all) and the host company. I also wrote to his main sponsors who I know, they both froze his account. :winkwink:

OK I was mislead by the title.
So you got someone to remove your content and possibly freeze their account via DMCA notices, no real case.
