Anyone familiar with WOO themes for wordpress?
 

I got some problems with their free premium press one regarding the featured image. Anyone know anything about that?

I'm using it. Was a bit of a bitch to figure out, yes, but I have it working.

1: Image size 350 X 200
2: When you make your post, use the WP image uploader to insert the image into post.
3: Before inserting it, copy the pic's URL from the dialog box
4: Paste the image URL into the box that says "Image URL" at the bottom of the post page

Is the size of the image really important? I figured the script would either crop or autoscale it. I'll see if it helps

LOL, I guess I just don't want my images randomly cropped or autoscaled :)

are you sure you inserted the pic URL in the custom WOO box at the bottom of the post page?

yeah, its in the box. I tried to chmod the pic to give it more permissions but got the following:
Request denied.
Please verify that the file or folder exists and that you have the necessary permissions on the server to perform the requested operation.

This might be the problem?

I did try to check their forum but they charge for access to the documentation

I haven't had any issues with it. I have a few paid themes from them and they all work just fine.
