These protests were not intended to be "anti-Obama." It only seems that way now because that is how the media has portrayed it and of course a bunch of nutjobs who do actually hate Obama and who don't even know what's going on had to show up to the protests.

The people who really understand the purpose of these protests were protesting the path our federal goverment has been on for decades now, it doesn't even really have anything to do with Obama.

I can just imagine that guy... going to any protest he can find, no matter the subject, always carrying the same sign: "Smoke weed."

I would just LOVE to see this recession actually turn into another but something much, much more worse then the actual "great depression" .....where these bitchy protestors wouldn?t have enough energy or time to complain cause they would be waiting in line at a soup kitchen.

Why not talk about the signs that are actually important? Like the ones that say "Abolish The Federal Reserve." Oh, that's right, because most people don't even understand why we should get rid of the FED in the first place, I forgot. Everyone has their panties all in a knot over Obama that they all forget about the main issue, The Federal Reserve. The FED was supposed to be at the heart of these protests, but of course it turned into a stupid Republicans vs. Democrats thing as usual.

The bailouts hadn't happened yet. The bailouts just happened recently, and they are serious contributors to the problems that our country and currency face. Some of the people at these protests today have understood the dangers of the central banking system for decades now, but the recent bailouts and HUGE increase of the money supply were the nails in the coffin.

The bailouts would have went through had it been Obama in office or McCain in office (or Bush for that matter, same shit). People need to look past the frontman and to who is behind the Federal Reserve. Great men like Andrew Jackson didn't go to their grave trying to get rid of the central banks for nothing.

FINALLY!!!! someone who ACTUALLY understands! Too many people are so FIXATED on if there is a D or an R after a politicians name - then scream and shout about how their D or R is better - but in the end, the government is STILL moving in the same direction.

Something to note: The federal government was created by the states to SUPPORT the states, not CONTROL the states.

Cnn caught creating a biased feel to the protests by hand picking the few "anti-obama" sign holders who were clearly out numbered by other protesters who think BOTH PARTIES are to blame.

The vast majority did not understand anything other than the fact Fox News told them to go. I doubt if 2% of them even know what the Federal Reserve is, much less understand the complexities of fractional banking, money supply, Keynaisian economics, or anything requiring some thought.

...they've been told that Obama is spending too much, but didn't have a problem with Bush's off books trillion dollar failed hunt for weapons of mass destruction. Fucking hypocrits.
