Being a father fucking rocks! Cartoons all day long!

Seriously... I can watch cartoons all day long and nobody says anything because my kid is watching them with me.

Score!

Killswitch - BANNED FOR LIFE 04-20-2009 09:04 AM

Tom and Jerry is still pimps too.

Dwreck 04-20-2009 09:06 AM

what are some of the more recent popular cartoons?

Scott McD 04-20-2009 09:06 AM

I hate the cartoons on tv nowadays.

The old one were much better. Of course you get the odd exception...

No idea, but my nephew loves the fuck out of Spongebob Squarepants, and I find myself watching it a lot.

No doubt... Me and my daughter are watching Tom and Jerry on Cartoon Network as I work right now.

Vendzilla 04-20-2009 09:21 AM

Same here... I swear if I have to sit thru one more episode of the Fairly Odd Parents, I may do some serious damage to my TV. I can take almost all of them, but that one gets on my nerves.

I like the old ones MUCH better. :thumbsup

Snake Doctor 04-20-2009 09:31 AM

They're fucking killing me.

I got a 7 month old out in the living room in his playpen....and Sprout is on all day long.

24/7 I have songs stuck in my head, the happy birthday song, Caillou, Play with me Sesame, Bob the Builder.....it's pretty sad.

JamesK 04-20-2009 09:35 AM

I like pokemon

Marcus Aurelius 04-20-2009 09:38 AM

I kinda like Ben10. And spongebob is great when your high. The last episode "the big one" was pretty fucking hilarious.

You're not watching the right cartoons! My daughter will be a year old next month and she loves some Tom and Jerry!

Sid70 04-20-2009 09:40 AM

so thats all you do about parenting. nice.

JayDeeZee 04-20-2009 09:56 AM

My daughter will watch anything on TV. My wife makes me put on Treehouse, it's so bad.

I switch it to Teletoon ;)

GetSCORECash 04-20-2009 10:06 AM

Super Why! Try to get your child hooked on that.

munki 04-20-2009 10:06 AM

I can't wait to catch up on some looney tunes...

Yeah once in awhile I switch to Boomerang for nostalgia's sake, but for the most part it's all Sprout, all the time. :(

DrChango 04-21-2009 03:30 PM

Dude, the Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Ben 10, pretty much any Batman series, Tokyo Pig, Avatar, Invader Zim (was canceled though, for being too out there, but you can get all three seasons on DVD at Hot Topic).

GrouchyAdmin 04-21-2009 03:31 PM

I'm afraid to see what that's about.

My daughter really isn't old enough to "get hooked" I just think the multiple colors and fast movements of Tom and Jerry catch her attention and she likes it.

We have Boomerang and other channels like Noggin and shit with the old school cartoon, just not in my office.

fun!!
but some cartoons these days are so annoying

Socks 04-21-2009 03:49 PM

Sometimes Sesame Street gets me so excited that I'm yelling at the TV and stuff.. :)

Today it was great.. It was all about triangles, and telly was going to a triangle lovers meeting, so he invited his friend bear... But bear kept interjecting at the meeting, and offering better chants, mottos and whatnot for the group.. Telly was so excited to be the triangle lover of the week and get the triangle crown, but of course the head triangle lover was really happy with bear for all his suggestions. So bear won the crown, and telly had to learn to be happy for his friend instead of being mad about his own loss.

mineistaken 04-21-2009 04:01 PM

would you watch cartoons without your kid? Its timewaster imho

candyflip 04-21-2009 04:59 PM

I LOVE Handy Manny and Yo Gabba Gabba.

There's also one with some girl and her dragon that has some really cool textured animation.

Though my little one is too busy at 10 months to care about the TV for more than a few minutes at time.

Profits of Doom 04-21-2009 05:05 PM

The best cartoons are all on Adult Swim after hours. I could never get enough Aqua Teens or Venture Brothers. Then again, I wouldn't exactly let your kids watch them...

UFGators2007 04-22-2009 11:07 AM

You should invite some of those hot milfs over for a play date!

michael.kickass 04-22-2009 11:38 AM

I definitely like the old cartoons more, the vast majority of the new ones are crap.

I will take that one any day compared to the one with the kid with the big nose always playing with Snot etc.
