Prediction for the next 50 years

Most of us are in the early years of our adulthood. The next 50 years or so define our lives.

These things WILL come to pass.

The USA will not be the dominant country of the world. WHY - duu - education. the US population isn't getting properly educated.

The next thing to realize is that the third world countries the USA is focusing on arn't going to be the problem. CURRENT first world countries WILL BE. Think about it - the USA is breaking itself economically wasting time on idiot enemies when most european countries are banking funds and developing technologies to take over the world. EUROPE is the next world power. They may take it quietly as they are now - or they may take it by force in 10-30 years. None the less it'll happen.

Next
The model of the car will not expand and mass transit has to begin to take over.

Next
the model of the suburban house will decline and LARGE condos - 1000-2000 sq feet will become the norm and cities will become more centralized.

I liked reading about Stephen Hawking talking about the next hundreds, thousands and millions of years for humans.. If we can keep from destroying ourselves.

He thinks if we can survive the next 200 years without imploding then we have a good chance of getting off this planet and surviving as a species.

He also added that he's an "optimist" by nature... :winkwink:

Europe is way to laid back and don't even come close to the work ethics of the laziest Americans... But props for trying....

America and the world knows just whats going on... We understand the yo-yo game our eneimes are playing, and its actually great american propaganda the enemies are feeding to the public eye... The whole world is starting to see it..

Now, at the lowest level it only comes down to resources... I think we truly know who wins... You see, you can have all the resources in the world, but the moment you can't sell all the resources, is when your country immediately gets the problem... So natural gas, and oil counties, and all that really dont matter as much as you might think. Especially wheny ou can't grow a potato.

You dont need a lifetime of resources to overtake the world... Mankind will bleed out way before that...

As for education, the american public gave up on mass education long ago.. i say somewhere around 80-84 we learned we can't train them all, thats where iowa test scorees, i think called tab? now came into play.. you want your child educated.
you best get him doing well on tab tests. It controls the attention level he gets from the system.

The USA will no longer be the #1 superpower within 10 years or less. Like it or not.

Make way for China.

Here's the thing, I have a lot of problems with America but it's much harder to become a superpower than people think. China? India? Yeah, maybe when more than 5% of their population has indoor plumbing they can talk about being a superpower.

Did you guys know the U.S. DOD is spending more money on building a totally robotic Army by 2023 then they spent on building the atomic bomb? Just to put that into perspective, the Manhattan project employed more people than General Motors at the time. So this is huge. There are already like 15,000 robotic drones in Afghanistan and Iraq just being used as test beds. The people at the top realize this is the future of America's supremacy.

The country that is able to build a fully functional army unit of robotic fighting machines will easily be the superpower. Don't laugh, it's true.

Look, I get pretty disgusted with America most of the time but it's going to be a hell of a lot longer than 50 years before the U.S. is dethroned as the most powerful nation on Earth.

We invented the glory hole for crying out loud!

Scott, a little tour over Europe would show you that it's not so pink future for Europe either.

People here are probably still more or less educated, but in general also extremely lazy and spoiled
