Holding server was perfect timing... "Are you a Dork, Geek or a Nerd?" Neither I guess :1orglaugh

All sites were 100% down without MYSQL running correctly, made a support ticket, trusting your support team would simply fix a MySQL database user(s) error on your end. I was just about out the door(literally) for my long awaited 6-7 day vacation.

I contacted you by e-mail & icq to get a quick helping hand, but found out you were on vacation as well. Np :) I explained to support the situation by ticket that I was leaving & that I would have no internet access, please get the sites back up soon.

The above was a ticket response that was sent on the same day I had already left for vacation. They couldn't test just one site to see if it was up?

all my sites were down for 6 days while I was away w/no internet access(reason I went :winkwink: :1orglaugh)

I return from vacation, made another ticket, 85% problem was fixed in 4 minutes, I fixed the rest in a few minutes. Damage was already done, my opinion, terrible support! :2 cents:

Was the downtime intentionally? I believe so, was a simple fix/check & they knew I was going away. But for what reason? Could it be that I crushed the virtual server offering unlimited bandwidth and unlimited storage? Could it be that I asked for undeserved help to many times on such a low priced virtual plan? Who knows :2 cents:

Nosey,

As I stated in a previous thread to you, I apologize that you had a bad experience with us. I am not certain of your exact situation because I have no way to verify your account with us.

If you were moved to a holding server from shared hosting, then you were probably over utilizing resources on our shared server. This has no bearing on our unlimited features. Any host with limits can not let an account crash a shared server. This also has nothing to with the number of support requests you make either. However, none of those things are the issue. The issue is that regardless of being to holding server, your account should have been checked as you stated. There really is no excuse for this, so I am not going to try and make one. The fact is, we are not perfect. We make mistakes, no doubt about it. We try our best to keep mistakes at a minimum, but there will be things that happen. We have been providing hosting to the adult community at reasonable prices for 10 years now and I think we do a pretty damn good job at it, MOST of the time :)

Had you informed me of your dissatisfaction with our team, I would have bent over backwards to remedy this situation for you and provide you with some type of compensation for your loss. Sadly, I was not contacted by you so I never had this opportunity.

We've been hosting with NH for a couple of years and Jeff and Todd Have always been on top things and support has always been prompt and reliable, I am sorry you had a bad experience but to say their support sucks after one incident seems a bit unfair!

IMO NakedHosting Rocks :)

I've always found Naked Hosting to have very quick and responsive support.

In fact, its the thing I always mention first when people ask about them.

NH has wonderful support. I've NEVER had a problem with their support and I've been with them for several years now. They are always on top of it for me.

I'm sure your unfortunate incident was an isolated one.

We use Naked Hosting..... have never had any issues and their support has always been excellent.
Sorry to hear you had a problem, but I am sure they will get it taken care of :2 cents:
