Pleasurepays 04-25-2009 02:27 PM

gmail with my own domains. there is no better way to do it in my opinion.

fris 04-25-2009 02:30 PM

ya i might end up doing that

Tempest 04-25-2009 02:33 PM

I use outlook for legacy shit and thunderbird... But thunderbird has this fucking annoying bug that they just can't seem to fix and so I've been considering changing to something else... I fucking hate the gmail "conversations" thing otherwise I'd consider going with that. Wish they had a way to turn that off.

I use gmail to open and process my domains' emails. Very little spam or virus mail goes through.

Realpeachez 04-25-2009 02:36 PM

mailing-manager-pro.com is pretty good , kinda expensive though :P

Yngwie 04-25-2009 02:42 PM

I use Mozilla Thunderbird

candyflip 04-25-2009 02:44 PM

All my personal email goes thru Apple Mail. Business stuff goes through Microsoft Entourage.

Me too. Why deal with an email client. I have four computer in my home office and there is no need to configure each one of them. Set it up once with gmail and that's that.

Fris, is there an easy way to use some link exchange script to exchange hard links on pages in wordpress... i.e. if one uses wordpress as a cms system to create pages only.

candyflip 04-25-2009 03:04 PM

This is the first I've heard of using GMail with your own domain. What do they get out of the deal?

mineistaken 04-25-2009 03:14 PM

I check them through my host cpanel interface. Pain in the ass - I guess I should look into some client

Advertising around the emails.

LiveDose 04-25-2009 09:36 PM

Thunderbird but there are some buggy annoyances with it as mentioned above.

gmail as personal one and gmail for domains as well. let the cloud hold it all. Gmail works so much better than outlook and no storage issues on my end. highly recommend it. Although thunderbird's a great alternative to Outlook... Outlook is too bloated and insecure
