Decoding The Past: Doomsday 2012: The End of Days

There are prophecies and oracles from around the world that all seem to point to December 21, 2012 as doomsday. The ancient Mayan Calendar, the medieval predictions of Merlin, the Book of Revelation and the Chinese oracle of the I Ching all point to this specific date as the end of civilization. A new technology called "The Web-Bot Project" makes massive scans of the internet as a means of forecasting the future... and has turned up the same dreaded date: 2012. Skeptics point to a long history of "Failed Doomsdays", but many oracles of doom throughout history have a disturbingly accurate track record. As the year 2012 ticks ever closer we'll speculate if there are any reasons to believe these doomsayers.

Could this be true the earth's North and South points will shift and cause major disasters to Earth....?

You know what? Who cares. Live life to it's fullest whether the world is ending or not. Spend your time and energy on the things you should be spending your time and energy on and stop worrying about what might or might not be that's way beyond your control anyhow.
Because guess what... if the world is ending, and if the world isn't ending... it makes no difference on what your choices are today.

Bullshit. Merlin wasn't even real. the Bible never mentions ANY specific dates. The Mayan calendar ends in Dec 21 2012 that doesn't mean the WORLD is going to end then. The Mayans were very good astronomers adn were able to actually calculate the date when the sun would be in alignment with the enter of the galaxy. Which is kind of special since it doesn't happen but once every 26,000 years.

End of an age, it's the end of an age. It's the Venus transit Cycle 5,125 from 3114 BC also the end of the Great Zodiac precession cycle of 26,000 years. December 21st is also the beginning of the the Winter Solstice where the Sun (not the son) is born again on December 25th.

Some guy I know keeps trying to get me to watch Zeitgeist. I last a few minutes before smashing the TV and screaming about paranoid conspiracy theorist nutjobs.
