I used to be of the mentality of i would d/l it first then if i liked it or it was a favorite artist I would go and buy it later.

Two weeks ago.

I tried to buy some old late 80's, early 90's shit off itunes but they were not available. So I hunted down the CD's on amazon, and bought them.

If not for those types of circumstance, probably 10 years easily since bought one.

I have the new NOFX CD on preorder, like I always do. It comes out on my birthday.

$10 to support my favorite band and I buy it directly from them. :thumbsup

I buy CD's all the time. I like collecting them and having the Actual CD.

About 1 week ago. The CD "Doomsday X" by the death metal band "Malevolent Creation".

Couple weeks ago. I bought "Shirley Bassey Live in Japan" at a local Tower Records that was going out of business.

The last CD I bought was " Ride the Lightning " by Metallica because it wasn't available on ITunes at the time. That was probably around five years ago.

Tiesto album a few months ago was my last. Don't buy near as many cd's now as i used to...

I have NEVER bought a single music cd.. ever. Just timed out that way. Was in the workforce not having time to sit and listen by the time that technology came out.

A Jerry Lee Lewis collection, about two weeks ago, I bought it to listen to when I drive.

Francisco Bochaton. It´s a local singer, indy music, one of those poor artists that really need people to pay for his work...

A $3 used copy of "In Yo' Face: The History of Funk vol. 3" at the Apple Festival last fall.

2 weeks ago ... bought the new Tragically Hip album we are the same. Pre-Ordered it with tickets I bought to a show of theirs coming up soon.

I still buy my music... be it actually purchasing or "renting" through Zune. I think the last CD I "bought" was from Amon Amarth.

How is the new album? If it's anything like the single they released I'm going to pass.

Same here, only I'll be seeing them at a small club in Hollywood! Can't wait, although I always get homesick after I see them play.

So far I like about 1/2 the album .. I still like their older stuff better. But some nice songs on there.

About 4 years ago I bought a bunch of second hand CDs for 25 cents each from a used CD store that went out of business. Got TONS of good stuff for next to nothing which is a much more fair price for music in my opinion.

I wonder if retro kids will be at cd stores in 5 years....
