WTF... I never take vacations and the swine Flu has to hit this week? Would you cancel?

I hate to say it as I love Cancun but I would skip it. Half the fun is drinking and chasing hotties. But then whenever I fly I seem to catch a cold lately so it would suck to be there and have the sniffles as everyone would be nervous.

If I were you, I would postpone the trip. Cancun will still be there after this flu shit blows over.

You prob have a higher chance of being shot, kidnapped, murdered, etc... or a higher chance of just catching the flu going on vacation in any place, getting food, or shaking hands at a show.

Go enjoy your vacation.. and like going into any 3rd world shit hole, mind yourself and stay safe.

I was suppose to go to Mexico this week. However I decided not to go about a month ago before all this shit happened. Glad I decided against going LOL

In a week it's going to be Cinco De Mayo, so you could stay in America and be surrounded by people drinking tequila and listening to mariachi music without the annoying intrusion of Swine Flu, drug beheadings or earthquakes.

The actual resort and vacation i wouldn't be worried about. The several hour flight with 100+ other people that you don't know where they've been is what would worry me, especially because the air in the plane isn't fresh. Check with who you booked with, most of them are offering no penalties to reschedule because of the Swine flu scare.

I'm not one to go in for all the "scares" but I heard something like over 100 people dead now (i think i heard about this first on thursday...) - that's good enuf to have me rescheduling any / all flights until they get this under control.

We have NO CASES of it here in Cancun, and only 1 in the next State.

The Hotels have all stepped up cleaning and spraying of Lysol and makeing sure things are tidy.

Come and visit. DONT drink to excess, as thats a good way to lower your immune system.
