Turn off auto renewal in Moniker?

Anyone know how to do this?

Barefootsies 04-27-2009 02:08 PM

MyAccount/DomainDefault.

Scroll down to drop down.

Just curious why you'd want to do this? Is it because you want some domains to drop, or for some other reason?

I hear a lot of people are doing that lately. Roofie has been scooping up some decent domains that are dropping because people I guess can't hold on to all their domains, and just keeping the choice stuff now a days.

More so mainstream then what I have seen in adult.

I wouldn't necessarily say confusing, but it ranks up there with Verotel's admin.

Speaking about auto renewal, now because of epassporte wallet/visa settings this auto renewal not working if you put all funds on wallet.I am not saying that is bad,but this could be problematic if you put all your funds on wallet and you think how your domains will auto renew while they wont because of this.

I have hundreds of domains... I like to review my inventory before renewing. With automatic renewal, I don't have that ability.

Okay, I changed the default for future registrations, but that did not change the setting for all of my domains. Any other ideas?

There should be a way to change it in bulk. I think Bari is on a mini vaca atm, or Id say hit her up.

Check box them all, then go through those steps?

I did it for all domains some years back, so I am not sure what steps I took. Sorry mang.

:Oh crap

Sly 04-27-2009 02:27 PM

LOL, I did all of that. Nothing.

collegeboobies 04-27-2009 02:28 PM

HorseShit 04-27-2009 02:33 PM

Where?!?!

sextoyking 04-27-2009 02:40 PM

Sly,

I always thought Moniker had a wierd / not easy to use interface.

Yeh I finally got the tick boxes to work and all that but they could spend a little bit of time making it really easy and simple..

justsexxx 04-27-2009 02:44 PM

Well I have the same problem lol. I can turn auto renew OFF for all domains.

But how can I delete a domain? When I select a domain and choose delete I get
None of the Domains selected qualify for a Delete refund.

Sly 04-27-2009 02:46 PM

Good God are you guys serious?!

Stop telling me you know how to do it and then not tell me how to do it! Argh!!!

pussyluver 04-27-2009 02:49 PM

My personal opinion is that the user interface, well sucks. Lost a domain without notice. Then they want a ransom fee to get it back. Most registrars email ya to death trying to get that renewal. Support claimed it is all part of ICANN rules... Doesn't change the useless user interface.

Answer is I don't have to use them, so I move those I have there that I want to keep somewhere else as they come up for renew.

uh, Moniker sends plenty of emails out. either you have the incorrect email address on file or have this feature turned off somewhere in your account but I do know they send plenty of renewal emails whether you have auto on or off.

I had the same problem... admittedly it was my fault because I let the domain expire by accident, but they wanted $125 per domain to get it back. I've never heard of that before, but I've also never had the problem before so maybe it's legitimate... not sure.

Very fucking confussing...it seems every register has issues. Something as simple as change DNS I had problems with...I could not tell if it worked or not?

I had been big on godaddy but lately just logging into my account...makes me feel like I am walking down times square...they got all kind of shit going on, sales with catches, promo deals, vip deal, buy this you get this, coupon codes that never fucking work, slow as shit to get anything done.

I always have auto renewal off, a little bit more control on my side
