Help me get on the dragons den and i will help you win out against "illegal" tubes
 

as many of you guys know i have repeatedly defended the legality of "illegal tube sites" and advocated the changes necessary to succeed when they run.

Many people have repeatedly said that they would only work in mainstream, something which a disagree with since i tested/discovered those techniques using adult content as the base.

Our company is up for a shot on to appear on the dragons den and we figuire a full pitch (7.5 minutes) on the air given current buy rates would be worth more that 13 million dollars worth of free publicity (given bit torrent download rates for the show + tv viewings).

Given this value if we get on the air, i will produce a tutorial teaching people many of these discovered techniques that will allow you to

1. minimize the amount of content that appears on the tube site.
2. get tons of profitable signups when such "theft" does occur.
3. Recover the loses from other areas

PS. If you like a show that has been timeshifted to death this is a way to save it
our solution provides

1. a revenue stream that subsidizes the production of the show
2. allows the show to be cross promoted amoung normally unavailable content (cancelled show, shows on other networks, shows airing at different times during the schedule)
3. provides producers with stats about stick rate of the show with different lead in allowing to more effectively moved to an appropriate network after a more appropriate show.

no offense man but if you think that is going to get you on the dragons den then you are out of your mind

had to throw something together pretty quickly, biggest problem is that it an overly techical issue.

There are more then 60 things you have to do right if you want to successfully compete with the pirates ripping your show and put it on torrents

there 63 things you can do that can give you competitive advantage that they can't do because it would publically expose them to procecution.


I need something quick and dirty that i could push virally within the bit torrent community. IT purpose is just to get votes, not to get the money, that pitch is a completely different animal.

..and that abortion was better than you putting on some nice clothes, shooting w/ a proper mic and saying:

"Hey, I'm so and so. I've worked out how to stop online piracy.
My software has over 60 variables it manages to improve all aspects of online profitability"

when i pitched it live in windsor that they type of pitch i made.
the producers didn't believe me when i told them that 1, 975, 652 people download the episodes of their shows via bit torrent because the viewership of the show on tv was 770,000.

They didn't realize that dragon's den canada gets a huge bump foreign downloaders who are looking for dragon's den UK and seeing the dragons den canada directly above in the show list and choosing to download all the seasons that they can find.

that was targeted to the demo of the downloaders from torrent sites. Cutesy crap that appeals to them, something they would pass around to their friends, something that appears to be one of them talking to you.

Look at some of the clips from the documentaries which feature the pirate bay talking about their profitablity.

If i get on the dragons den it will be because i proved that marketplace can be sold with branding bugs concept.

wouldn't you pitch a video that targeted rich,intelligent entrepreneurs who have the cash you want?
