Air Force One, and this mission was designed to get pictures of the plane in front of New York landmarks.

I'm telling you..this does not add up. This story is BS. The cops here in NYC were told not to tell the civilians that it was going to happen (uh ok why???) Bloomberg said he was not informed because his assistant "forgot" to tell him and he has since been "reprimanded" (sure White calls to say planes are flying over the WTC, and he forgot..my ass) The prez is claiming he had no idea this was going on. (that baffles me to no end)

So the cops knew, the mayor had no idea but his assistant did, the prez was never told about it.....and to top that off THEY FLY IT over the WTC in New York F@#$% City!!!!

Arrogant assholes, or the most incompetent gov on the planet. Yes I knew people who passed away in the WTC, and I can't believe this was done just a couple years after that tragic day.

I'm not a very sensitive person but I cannot even fathom what they were thinking when they thought of this. It doesn't even make sense. Let's fly a copy of Air Force One with fighter jets through a major city where a massive tragedy took place? Uhh, duh.

your government wasn't informed. it's been stated that the mayor 'had his assistant forgot to tell him' but i think that's bullshit to cover his ass, something he said that he shouldn't

you'll find reports that the New York governor can't find ANYONE that was informed about this.

my humble opinion is it's a stunt to make it seem like the president doesn't know his asshole from the ground
