Bex 04-29-2009 09:35 AM

I know someone who tried this ... let's just say he drank a LOT of water and nothing happened ... except having to piss a lot.

Yen_HerbalRevenue 04-29-2009 09:35 AM

Yes, I am very confused.

Easton 04-29-2009 09:36 AM

you can actually die from ODing on water

something about not enough salt in your body if you ingest too much water

flood your orgrans or whatever, i heard that somewhere

Emil 04-29-2009 09:36 AM

I think you have to drink a dangerous large amount of water before you feel the "drunk"-effects. Not worth it.

Yep quite a few people have died running marathons etc from consuming too much water. A young guy in his early twneties died in last years London Marathon i think from it as well.

Iron Fist 04-29-2009 10:03 AM

If you die from drinking water, well... you probably deserved it.

Honestly you will probably die before being too drunk. Just get 5 few gallons and start drinking, dont stop.

collegeboobies 04-29-2009 10:23 AM

Initially, contestants were handed eight-ounce bottles of water to drink every 15 minutes.

“They were small little half-pint bottles, so we thought it was going to be easy,” said fellow contestant James Ybarra of Woodland. “They told us if you don’t feel like you can do this, don’t put your health at risk.”

Ybarra said he quit after drinking five bottles. “My bladder couldn’t handle it anymore,” he added.

After he quit, he said, the remaining contestants, including Strange, were given even bigger bottles to drink.

“I was talking to her and she was a nice lady,” Ybarra said. “She was telling me about her family and her three kids and how she was doing it for kids.”

Some people make the mistake of drinking far too much water when taking 'E'.

Someone who died here a while back, they claimed it was the E they took that killed them, when really, it was the fact they drank faaaaaaar too much water after it which killed them...

bbobby86 04-29-2009 11:02 AM

This is true. I think your brain swells up, and you die... no kidding!

Too much water, too fast, and you really CAN die! Rare, but it happens.

Way more people die from alcohol poisoning however...

I figured someone would post the Wii radio contest where the chick died from drinking too much.

It's not a safe thing to do.

mineistaken 04-29-2009 01:49 PM

I think you would throw up and physicly won't be able to drink that much to reach that dangerous amount of water.

borked 04-29-2009 02:26 PM
