Saw Wolverine tonight...

It came out in Asia before the USA (and online before Asia - heh) and it's worth checking out. Action packed. Stick around until after the credits for a few minutes of footage that doesn't really mean much but it's there anyway.

»Rob Content« 04-29-2009 02:31 PM

How is the story and acting in it. I was hoping it was not too overdone with the action crap, and had a bit more to offer.

pornguy 04-29-2009 02:43 PM

Cant wait to see that one and a few others by might be forced to now.

mozadek 04-29-2009 02:46 PM

Like a few others here I downloaded the workprint, the movie is decent but not worth spending the money on tickets, food and putting up with idiots in the theater who talk loud, leave their cell ringers on and so on.

sandman! 04-29-2009 02:48 PM

looks like a good movie.

So basically you watched the movie free and now decide you should fuck the producers out of their money because what? it was a work print? That work print still cost money to make but hey... however you need to justify your thievery.

:disgust

CyberHustler 04-29-2009 02:55 PM

It sucked... in my opinion of course.

biskoppen 04-29-2009 02:57 PM

The thing I liked about the workprint was seeing the rough cut of the film. No justification for not seeing it in theater, I had no plans to watch the movie in theaters. You can get off your high horse and don't act like you never downloaded a song, album or movie without purchasing it afterwards.

KickAssJesse 04-29-2009 03:08 PM

I already seen it... it's nothing special

Meeper 04-29-2009 03:11 PM

I saw the work print as well and I thought it was really cool to see how the film looks before all the CGI and scoring was completed. I know a lot was missing from it (almost every action sequence) so I will be seeing it in theaters to see the finished product.

Yes. Just like how I try on a pair of pants and if they don't fit I don't buy them...

It is not called a high horse it is called having morals and an ethic so don't confuse me with your morally bankrupt views. I have NEVER downloaded a song nor an album OR a movie. When I found my kids were downloading songs illegally they lost their ipods and their computer rights for a few months. I also yanked the program they were using to get them.

And as for your last statement? You already stated you had no plan to spend the money on it so you fail your own argument. But what can you expect from today's "ME" generation fucktards.

1. ... because you move on to buy something that does.
2. Last I checked a pair of jeans didn't cost $50 million + to make
3. Is stupidity painful? I hope not because you have heaps of it.

Another score by the Idiocracy Nation!

I am so angry with everyone on the Internets.

Z 04-29-2009 04:41 PM

I saw it a couple weeks ago in this awesome almost done copy with the CGI still half completed, etc.

Great movie...

CaptainHowdy 04-29-2009 05:05 PM

I gotta see it ...

I moved on and watched Iron Man, the first X-Men movie and Hulk after reading my old Punisher comics... then I jizzed all over my Storm t-shirt. I bought these things because they were good and I liked them.

No one asked anyone to pay $50million for a movie. If they want to waste money like that, it's not my fucking problem.

So... tell me about the jeans industry you're an expert on.

Yes, keep your children sheltered as possible so they can grow up ONLY watching shit that the cockfucking music and movie industries feed them via radio and tv just because you are OLD and don't understand.

I hope everyone else follows your lead.

I'm tired of poor people being exposed to art that they can't afford, they might make something of themselves.

Miguel T 04-29-2009 06:49 PM

I am waiting for it to arrive to Portugal. Quite a big fan of Xmen movies.

OG LennyT 04-29-2009 08:04 PM

I'm looking forward to seeing it tomorrow

NickB. 04-29-2009 08:19 PM

They aren't sheltered, they learned a lesson and now they pay for the music they want which is pretty cheap. Maybe someone should have done a better job raising you and you wouldn't have this bizarre entitlement to steal. What? Because your poor? Boo-fucking-hoo... Then do what the poor have always fucking done, do with out or do something about it. Not to mention the fact if they are that fucking poor WTF are they doing with ipods let alone computers with internet access.

I hate to break it to you but many of our worlds greatest minds grew up poor and wanting and guess what? They made something out of themselves WITHOUT having to steal shit....

:2 cents: +1

I always prefer to watch a good movie in the theater. That is how they are supposed to be watched.

Annoying to the core, you only login to bitch and moan.

Shut the fuck up please. Live your own life. Stop trying to pass your beliefs onto others, and yes they are beliefs.

Whiny "fucktard".

Oh... I forgot. EVERYTHING should be free right? I mean why pay for it when you can just take it for free right? I mean you are obviously entitled to it... somehow.

If you think this is whining then you need to get a better grip on the world around you... my posts in this thread are nothing more than a big fuck you to whoever a quoted. Including you. So now...

Yes, it is so obvious I only log in to whine. You only need to check my past posts to know that is not true. I mean I joined in 2002 and you are a noob with already half the posts I do. I would be willing to bet you have more useless posts than I. :winkwink:

You're an expert on the morality of the worlds greatest minds now. DO share how the great minds would never enjoy COPIES of art that costs the artist NOTHING without paying money for it.

You're cockblocking your kids from the world's greatest media library.

PS. I am in the music industry and I would LOVE if your kids "illegally" downloaded my music and became fans and so would a good chunk of bands out there who are not OLD fucks like Metallica and just plain don't fucking understand.

30-years from now people like you will say Gizmo4256 could live my life for me for a couple fo years...just so "I" can live for 150 years of age.... bblah

Youre a dangerous breeed to say folks who still can determine facts from generalizing nonesense and propaganda.

I'm telling dad.

raven1083 04-30-2009 07:31 PM

looking forward to watch it!

Anna_Miller 04-30-2009 08:53 PM

I'll watch it on Netflix.. I rarely go to the theaters anymore.. at home on the big screen is much more comfortable. :)

Jayvis 05-01-2009 08:39 AM

I saw the 12am opener last night and the place was packed! I have not seen any of the other X-Men movies and was not aware this was a prequel until about half-way through when I started picking up on what was going on. Overall I enjoyed it, great action and it brought back so many childhood memories from the old cartoon. Now I gotta see the X-men movies!

fuzebox 05-01-2009 09:41 AM

I thought it was great... Lots of good fresh X-men fun. Gambit's effects were badass.

After all that waiting I expected something more... I wish Marvel would stop putting stuff at the end of the credits so I can stop sitting there like an idiot while the theatre cleaning crew is going through and the lights are on... Even worse was when I eagerly waited through Dark Knight for something :(

_Richard_ 05-01-2009 10:02 AM

thanks for the heads up!

yea dude, the other ones were pretty killer. This one definitely gave a great backstory on the characters. Only thing is the other XMen movies don't have the same actor for Sabertooth.

I just read that apparantly depending what theatre you watch the movie in, there are three different scenes after the credits...

Interesting, I saw the one where he was in the bar.

Meeper, I have the first X-men on Netflix for the weekend. :thumbsup

I heard reviews were not so good on this movie but I thought it was great as far as super hero flicks go.

Horny Dude 05-01-2009 11:01 AM

Going to see it tonight.

The Ghost 05-01-2009 11:20 AM

Watched it yesterday and really enjoyed it. See it on the big screen.

Deadpool was known in the comics for being an annoying wisecracker, was known as "the merc with the mouth". I thought Ryan Reynolds was perfect casting :1orglaugh
