stopping production of the normal flu vaccine is huge. Considering the shortage of the normal flu vaccine every year. All you hear about is them saving vaccines for really old and really young.

I probably won't get it because I work from home and stay home all day. I'll just won't leave my house so I'll survive the massive epidemic if there is one. I got tons of food and water in storage here...

this flu has killed 1-2 people in america? how many has the normal flu that always goes around killed this year? 10-20k?

quoted from http://www.cdc.gov/flu/keyfacts.htm

What is Influenza (Also Called Flu)?

The flu is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. It can cause mild to severe illness, and at times can lead to death. The best way to prevent the flu is by getting a flu vaccination each year.

Every year in the United States, on average:

* 5% to 20% of the population gets the flu;
* more than 200,000 people are hospitalized from flu-related complications; and
* about 36,000 people die from flu-related causes.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

so what the fuck is all the fuss about with this swine flu?
