Which antivirus programs can protect against the H1N1 virus?

I hear this virus might be huge, so I want to make sure that I'm protected. Which antivirus program should I use?

DrChango 04-29-2009 04:15 PM

definitely not Norton, it interferes with legitimate operations, so it might protect you from h1n1, but then mistake your pancreas for malware!

dav3 04-29-2009 04:18 PM

Hrmm... Well how about Nod32? Do you think it will leave my pancreas be and eradicate the H1N1 bugs?

Diomed 04-29-2009 04:29 PM

Fuck Norton's in the face,

that's the one those cunts try to bypass when writing.

I would go with Avast, they seem to have really good updates.

Ok here is the thing! For start you can use Nod! But on every 3-4 week install AVG,Kaspersky,Norton.......make a full sweep on your comp! And then if its all ok install Nod again, and that's it! And use some good firewall
Of course don't run two antivir softwares at the same time!!!

How about if I run Bitdefender's online scanner, then if it's clean, install Nod (or maybe Avira I hear it's a good one also)? Do you think I will be safe from the pig virii?

Well which antivirus do you suggest to protect my cpu and interenets from the H1N1 virus? I still haven't downloaded a new AV program yet, so I'm open for suggestions.

I called Microsoft today and asked them which AV program I should get and they told me to call my ISP and ask them. So I call AOL and ask them what the best antivirus is for that new virus and they told me to get Avira cause it's got a high defection rate. They didn't seem to know about the H1N1 computer virus though. Kinda weird since it's been on the news a lot recently.

tamiflu.exe is supposed to work

How do you know you aren't already infected with the H1N1 virus? Hell, Avira just picked up virus in my grazing sheep screensaver that I've been running for awhile. I never even suspected anything from it. :Oh crap

Is it normal for sounds from a screensaver to play while I'm browsing the webb? Like right now, I can hear those furry bastids saying 'baaa, feed me'. So I guess I'm supposed to activate the screensaver or somethign? Avira said it cleaned the virus out, so it can't be that.
