Why are you using an antivirus?
 

They're made for morons that don't even know how to turn on a computer.. how can you call yourself a "webmaster" if you can't even prevent yourself from getting a virus?

And the antivirus programs don't always stop you from getting one they might just tell you you just got one, which is pretty pointless. Anyone who works via a computer and the internet should know when something is suspicious and be able to tell when they've just gotten infected.

I'm always browsing various sites, downloading movies, music, etc.. been doing this for years without an antivirus. Have I gotten a virus before? Sure, but I was aware I was being infected AS IT WAS HAPPENING and had it removed within the hour hijackthis and/or searching Google for a solution.

I honestly don't understand how someone who's job is on the internet would need an antivirus.. which is why I made this thread.

You're right in that I have no clue what the "h1n1 virus" is, and I could really care less because it most likely won't be a problem.

If you mean swine flu, well I could really care less about that also while all these other monkeys are causing a fuss about it, when they're over 30,000 people dying each year from the COMMON FLU, who's getting owned here again?

You are confused and should go back to bed.

1st - H1N1 virus is the same as swine flu virus and has nothing to do with computers LOL

2nd - If you have an internet business and stays online alot and want to protect yourself and your stuff - you should have some sort of security software. If you dont, then you are the one being stupid.

Viruses and malicious applications maybe aint dangerous today, but who knows how it is tomorrow.

I'd rather be on the safe side.

Nod32 Antivirus is an awarded antivirus program and a good choice for anyone being online alot.

If you can't afford a commercial one there's plenty of free ones.
