2. Superior Traffic.
3. Niche.
4. Diversity.
5. Luck.

In hard times, it's usually just doing the simple things right that keep you successful.

People often think that in hard times you have to reinvent the wheel and come up with wacky new ideas, but honestly the time to reinvent the wheel is during boom times. Focus on a quality product, giving the customer what they want and can't get anywhere else, and promote it the best you can and you will do just fine.

I think that is sort of what you are saying, I just put a little spin on it.

And as the old saying goes, I'd rather be lucky than good any day of the week. :)

To succeed in the adult biz I need:

1. A work ready environment (working on it)
2. 8-10 hours a day of serious work without having friends, family or the annoying telemarketer disrupting my schedule (fucking hard to accomplish)
3. A serious amount of Redbull + Beer (in stock)
4. SuccesssSS!!!! (+ a very intriguing headache ...)

Same applies in mainstream as well :)

7. Cost cutting. Find ways to reduce overhead without sacrificing quality.

In all honesty the whole thing about "thinking outside the box", "bigger better mousetrap" and "adapt or die" is sort of all BS. The few people who manage do any of that can hit it big or fail miserably. The rest of us just sort of work at what is working and make money that way. Boom times are easier. I have often thought a person should make their cash just following booms.

You know that Coca Cola and Pepsi exist, but you are probably not aware of buzz cola, tab and lots of more drinks that are exactly the same or very similar to coca cola or pepsi. Not to mention that you probably wouldn't even know where to buy anything else than coca cola or pepsi... Think about that :)

Niche is good...but some of these sites that cover all niche's have sick amounts of traffic. When you go to some of these sites for one niche...you end up checking out others.

Just be honest in this thread...to succeed just get a tube website, in which will give you traffic. As far as how it converts...have no clue...just testing the Iframe tube feeder with AEBN at the moment.

1. Superior Content. - I would go with exclusive & lots of it rather than superior
2. Superior Traffic. - hmm if by that you mean traffic that converts then yes.
3. Niche. - I agree
4. Diversity. - I agre somewhat however you need to stay focussed also..
5. Luck. - You make your own luck, however a little luck never hurt anyone.

By far I have found that my money comes from:

Diversity...
Lots of luck...
Lots of reading...
Lots of trying shit...
Lots of failures...
Lots of content...

and gain.. luck!
