Fell Asleep During Benjamin Button
 

I knew I would have an issue with the film "THe Curious Case of Benjamin Button" when I saw it was 2hrs 45 minutes long, and indeed I did as I fell asleep after 1hr..

Anyone else seen this film and can tell me if it is worth trying to watch the rest of it....

The first hour was not exactly exciting....

I left to go and pick up my son and did not feel bad about missing the last hour

That's a movie I will never see...

I had that happen about half an hour into Armageddon forever ago and to this day still haven't seen the rest of it just because I saw enough to know it was a shitty movie.

I'm sure Benjamin Button is one of those films that's way too slow for some...I haven't seen it yet but I do have a feeling I'll probably enjoy it.

It watched the first hour 1/2 last night and turned it off b/c I was falling alseep.

Uh I loved it, but I'm very patient when it comes to films and there was something about that movie that really kept it interesting.

Finally saw it. This movie was amazing. Loved it. Just a great movie.

I have found that people either really like it or really hate it. I really liked it but I can see how some people would not.

its pretty long and drawn out movie. i actually stopped it about 2/3rds the way through because i was falling asleep

I liked it, but thought it was too long and could have used a more heavy handed editor. I mean, it was based off a short story for christs sake, not a novel.

I liked parts of it, and I liked the themes, but there was alot that they could have cut out. Having so much in there made it a little redic and Forrest Gump-like TBH.

In the alternate ending he reverts back to sperm and crawls back inside Jolie.

I have no desire to see it at all. Not sure why but doesn't appeal to me.

I have been wanting to see the movie for a long time. I started to watch it on a plane but realized the movie is too heavy and needs to be watched at home or in a theatre where there's alot less noise.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0421715/) won 3 Oscar awards this year. It's directed by David Fincher (Se7en, Fight Club), so it's got to be pretty good.

It also uses brand new "Performance Capture Technology" which is an upgrade from the older "Motion Capture" method. Instead of placing 25 blue dots or so on a person's face to capture basic expressions (smiling, frowning, etc), they used a kind of a blue dust to capture tens of thousands of points on Brad Pits Face. This let Brad pit act as a very old man, a teen, and a baby via CG, and make it very believable.

I've seen only a few parts but plan to rent it soon. It sure looks pretty good...!

watched quite a bit, but it was getting late so I decided to watch the rest some other time and never got back into it.

Tried watching it a few times when the free to air was working on pay per view and I couldn't get into it. Boring would be the perfect word to sum it up for me.

I agree 100% Armageddon was a 100 million dollar piece of shit! You should check out BB though.. it's a kick ass movie:thumbsup

Just saw it...its the worst movie ever made! Worst thing to do with free time. This is probably what hell is like...they make you to watch the movie every day.

Was a cheaper version of Youth without Youth.
Wasn't terrible, you just had to be in the mood.

I thought this would be a solid movie, as Pitt often makes good choices for roles like these. I feel asleep about an hour in, in the theatre! Wouldn't bother seeing the rest of it.

i fell asleep watching this with a chick a few weeks ago, got about 90m into it and no car chases, explosions, or frontal nudity. and there wasnt enough niggas in the movie to keep my interest level up
