We just booked ours yesterday. We are going on a 9 day 'Lochs and Fjords' cruise in July that will take us around Norway and the top part of Scotland. I have never been on a cruise before but we got a really good deal and the landscape appeals to me.

Last year I took my chick out to cali since she had never been before. Flew in, grabbed a rental and pretty much went wherever sounded fun for a week all over the state. Then flew out. Got engaged up on that mtn on the north side of the golden gate bridge. Was hella fun.

Cant wait for this year! hmmm

when you're self employed, you don't really need to 'plan' vacations in advance...

My summer vacation is off to all the shows/conventions/gatherings. I am planning a trip on Thanksgiving to NYC with my kids though;-)

Doing some cabin in the mountains thing with the family again next month, that should be alright. Want to head back to florida soon again, to visit with friends and family and soak up some much needed sunshine (im so white i glow).

I haven't even thought about it ,not sure if we will be able to get away this summer. We hope to go to BoraBora around Feb

A week on the coast in England at a cottage, and then a week in London with the family.

We do an annual trip to Orlando/Disney with the entire family. We actually booked this year's trip while we were on the trip last year.

We're also going to Mexico this December. Can't wait.

While my accountant would never consider these vacations, Barcelona and Washington, DC are two locations on tap for this summer season.

Might be hitting either Spain, or some place in the Caribbean

Which coast? It is an island so we have a lot of coast ;)

Still not quite sure what's happening this Summer. The plans keep changing. We were originally booked for the Dominican Republic again, but cancelled that.

Got a few other options to consider but just not sure which will suit best. We shall see...

My whole life is a vacation, in madison now. probably spending june/july in nyc. after that asia unless some other idea pops into my head.

We have rented a cottage in Broadstairs for a week. It will be nice (donkey rides, fish n chips, 99, sand castles, etc.) I will also be leaving the kids with the grand parents so I can take the missus to Paris for the day on EuroStar :thumbsup

I personally have no plans for vacationing at least not at this time however I will be traveling in style to a consumer show back in my home town in New Zealand in September so that will be a big event and partial vacation and party. LOL

Aaron has already mentioned it several times, so im guessing once we get back from the family thing, we will figure out a time to head down that way, even if its for a "working vacation" :D

Already went on mine. Singapore for 4 days. We also went on a day trip to Malaysia. Singapore's great.

Key-west next week for 10 days then 2 weeks in Italy/France/UK in September.

I guess I'll be taking one in June, and then a 6 week one in July/August, with a few weekenders to various costa rican beaches thrown in the mix.

in 5 weeks we will be leaving for Indonesia (3 weeks) traveling around Bali, Java and Lombok. After that we are staying 3 more days in Hong Kong, just booked the hotel an hour ago. Can't wait to go, I need a break!!!!!

I'll be visiting some local mountains with my cross motorbike. Can't think of better way to spend the summer :-)

Right but presumably they usually actually have to be booked. Even self employed people aren't generally need a ticket to get in a plane or boat.

rallye in polland in june and three weeks eurotrip with my bros in july, maybe some vacation near ocean in winter ... but first i need to make some money for food ...

I don't have a vacation booked for this year. My gf wants to go to Thailand. We're going to Malta in June tho for 1 year so I might not book a vacation this year since Malta is gonna be like a year long vacation.

Or I might just book up to go back to Florida again! :)
