there is an idiot with 4 pages thread on the forum taking money for directory submittion. As the matter of fact, its just the list of link list sites.

Unfortunately, these sites do not accept adult content sites.

I can't give all the list of the sites however, here's a list of all the PR sites submitted to successfully for a previous client for just 2000 submission.

For the directory submission, do not be alarmed at the number of backlinks being generated. These backlinks are produced gradually as directories approve your links.

And, they dont accept adult then I take it - or at least the relevance to adult will be minimal. So...given adult links wont work with this, whats your successrate with mainstream links submitted?

no im afraid they dont allow adult sites. I mean I guess out of the 2000 perhaps around 20~30 might end up accepting it but its really not worth the time or money.

The success rate varies depending on your URL content and the niche. Overall its positive, and you do end up with descent number of good PR backlinks. Good PR links is good to have for a new site that just starts out.
