WebairGerard 05-15-2009 01:25 PM

XYZ was pretty good. TS is cool. Is Warren still playing with RATT? He's a good guitar player.

lesbodojo 05-15-2009 01:28 PM

Joe looks like he's having a blast. :)

TheAmericanCannibal 05-15-2009 01:30 PM

I just saw Warren DeMartini not too ling ago in SD

Man he has aged.

I still think your lead singer has a camel toe Joe-
He needs to lose the spandex pants.

He still has some pipes though.
I wish you the best of luck homie!

Great line up!

George Lynch WAS Dokken.

Just like CC Deville was and is, Poison.

No doubt Ice! We rehearsed next door to George for a few days before a show last summer. Super cool dude and he was ripping his solo from "tooth and nail" even better than back in the day.

He is the reason I learned how to play guitar. First song I learned was Unchain the night.

Good stuff man.. me too.. I wish I had a dollar for each time I played that song in clubs when I was 20. LOL :thumbsup

Joe BrainCash 05-15-2009 07:01 PM

I still think Ratt is the most underrated band of the era. They really had some good songs and skills but never had the commercial success poison, warrant and others did ( mainly because of looks). Round and Round was kind of a hit in 85 or something...

SBJ 05-16-2009 01:32 PM

wow what a line up of great old bands! Wish I could go!

One of the best shows I've ever been to was Van Halen's Monsters of Rock Tour 1988. That was a blast, other then I blacked out from over drinking and not eating in the sun all day haha

But sadly now when ever I think of 80's rock bands I think of the fire a few years ago with the band Great white in 2003. I still remember watching CCN all morning the day this happened Link

yeuD 05-17-2009 07:55 PM

FUCK YEAH !!! Ratt... "she wants money" that song live.. I'm getting chills here

FUCK YEAH !!!
that is some washed up Rock n' roll right there.
True to da' school.. for us who were there and will never let this shit die... NEVER !
Ron Keel was the shit, His band "Stealer" Yngwie Malmsteen on Guitar.. fuck you.. I took my first driver license photo wearing a Stealer t-shirt says "American Metal 82" from when they opened for Motley Crue at the Roxy.. whats up now..

L.A. Guns , not so much "head bangin" but when you really want to get Nasty. Those were crazy fun "blow job upstairs" at the Troubadour crazy nights.

FUCK YEAH , I was there.
You know you fucking wish you were there
