Yeah, went to see that to an art cinema when I was about 18, but I've seen a couple Lynch movies before, including a portion of the Twin Peaks series, and read about this one, so it wasn't so scary as it can be for someone who would come to see it just "from the street".

I still believe "Blue Velvet" is probably the best choice for those, who want to start with Lynch.

I don't think I really understood ERASERHEAD when I first saw it about 15 years ago. It's about the anxiety of parenthood, right?

According to David Lynch, nobody has "gotten it" yet. He says he hasn't read anything that gets it right.

Just take it for what it is on surface, or to you - some people laugh, some yawn, some are disturbed. Me, it was all three in parts ...
