Best video compressor for Mac???

I would like to get names of good programs that work well on Mac for compressing and tagging Raw Mov video footage to wmv, flv, mpg, Iphone, etc.

Final Cut Studio has a program named (duh) Compressor.

AutoDesk has a good batch processing program too, named Cleaner 6.5.

Not sure about the Mac version, but the latest pc version of Cleaner (Cleaner XL) is now an outdated program that does not support all of the latest codecs. It has not been updated in quite a while. The app pretty much got abandoned when AutoDesk purchased Discreet, the original publisher several years ago. Videocharge and Sorenson Squeeze are the state of the art in pc video compression nowadays. I think Mac users are stuck with Compressor if they want the latest codecs.

I use compressor, but i have problems when i want to Que. out a bunch of formats in different sizes . locks up and need to start over.

I used to use Sorenson Squeeze a long time ago, but also had crash issues.

I will check out Cleaner 6.5

When Compressor does lock up, it should restart where it left off (the content up to the stall/crash should still be good).

I generally batch several videos in the same format, and do formats separately, and have had few problems that way. Doing it this way involves a few extra steps, but since it all runs in the background, it's not that much of a biggy for me.

Loving Sorenson, I'm a PC though but I imagine the Mac version is similar.

Been using Episode Pro for over a year now. Fantastic piece of software, fast and flexible, also has batch encoding.

We use compressor here. Visual hub is good for some codecs.
