Who has a Tempur Pedic bed?

I do,

and I'm beginning to regret I bought the expensive fucker.

Nobody ever tells you how fucking HARD they are, and that they don't have much give.

Also, if you fall asleep in one position you will wake up SOAKING wet from sweat, because the material doesn't breathe properly.

Right now I just woke up, and my ribs on the right side are killing me, from falling asleep on my side with my head ontop of 3 pillows.

God damn bullshit Nasa my asshole. Lately I have been going to my other room and sleeping on my Posture Pedic.

Crock of shit in my opinion.

"Nobody ever tells you ... and that they don't have much give."

Yes they do, that's kind of the whole point.

Helix 05-18-2009 07:51 PM

I always wondered how much those cost.

PurrrsianPussyKat 05-18-2009 07:55 PM

You like to buy beds with the word "Pedic" in it, don't you?

Decadawn 05-18-2009 07:58 PM

my gf loves ours and i regret it a bit... i have a king size classic tempur pedic bed and i wish i went for one of those ultra soft ones for 1/2 of the price...

LiveDose 05-18-2009 08:00 PM

All I know is I helped someone move one and that fucker was heavy as hell...

We have a pillow, does that count?

Slick 05-18-2009 08:27 PM

I considered buying one, but after lying on one in the store and then going and lying on a nice big thick Seally pillowtop bed next to it, there was no comparison, the Seally pillow top was 100 times more comfortable.

Yep, pillowtop >>>>>>> Tempur Pedic.

I can't remember my brand but when I bought it I felt like I was laying on a cloud. Pillow top. That's what I bought, about two years ago now... still love it.

That's the other bed I have, a Seally Postur Pedic.

It's great and I have zero complaints, but for a while there my back starting hurting and I thought it was because the bed was too soft.

Hence me going out and getting the tempur pedic.

Which has been real nice in terms of fixing any back problems, but overall it is a lot more rough on your body than other beds.. and I'm in good shape.

You really enjoy it for the first month or so, then it starts to get on your nerves.

TheHatchet 05-18-2009 11:37 PM

Haven't you seen the wine glass test, thing looks way too stiff for me.

You must have got a cheap one or a fake one. I have three of them, I wouldn't go back for anything. They're soft, plushy and supportive all at the same time. Cleared my back issues right up.

I have gone through many beds, especially since para's and quad's are prone to getting pressure ulcers if they are not careful. Tried the Tempurpedic Celebrity model and another model. Also tried several other brands and types. Gave them all up. They each had major issues especially with weight distribution and disbursing pressure. Now I use an memory foam topped alternating pressure air mattress with comfort settings. It mixes the tempurpedic with the sleep number and steps that up. Only issue anyone seems to ever have is first getting used to the alternating pressure which partially inflates and deflates areas of the bed automatically all the time so that it sort of is moving under you. Add in some gortex mattress covers for air flow and helping keep down on body heat and then a regular sheet over that and it is great. Still use a hospital style bed frame though so that I can adjust head and feet of the mattress.

Persius 05-19-2009 12:10 AM

i have a full body pillow one ;) but for the bed i don't like the full thing to be tempupedic

CurrentlySober 05-19-2009 01:04 AM

I sleep on POO..

Soft, Sweet & Conforms to my body!

Its 'A very goooood!'

I like POO !

tiger 05-19-2009 08:09 AM

That's why I didn't buy one. For whatever reason that material makes me sweat like crazy.

I dunno wtf to tell you. I have one and every night when I lay down every night my first thought is, 'God I love my fucking bed.'

dready 05-19-2009 09:24 AM

I have one (not made by tempurpedic), but I think the next bed I buy will be latex foam.

It will get softer with time.

We have one and I don't like it much anymore. But that's mostly because my girl sleeps with her's pretty much deflated, so much so that it's fucked up the rest of the bed.

Diomed 05-25-2009 05:54 AM

So I've been sleeping on my Sealy Postur Pedic the past 3 nights and I am feeling much better.

I really like the Tempur Pedic for a long time when I first got it, it's given me a couple of problems before but they went away. It's just lately the bed has been kicking my ass bigtime, tossing and turning, sore, whole 9 yards.

I feel a whole lot better after getting a couple nights rest on the Postur Pedic with the big pillow top.

Just thought I would update :thumbsup

get a sleeping bag and put pillows under it... and save yourself some cash!
