This is what I hate about wordpress, non stop fucking updates the will in no doubt break all your plugins and templates

i must totaly agree, they are way off with thier updates, fuck that, make 2.0 > 2.5 and then build something for 3.0

Although I would agree, it's now down to a one click upgrade process in the panel. Also, most plugins and extensions don't break unless there is a MAJOR update, so it's not a huge problem. :2 cents:

They need to make the updates bigger ones. Especially when its NOT a security issue.

Dont make an update for every little thing they add.

I'm still using 2.6.5 and am happy with it.

Not yet, and to tell the truth I am not sure if I really need it... I know I know bug and security fix updates etc. ....but I was surprised when I installed 2.7.1 (before I was using 2.0.X) there is a few cool new things but also a whole bunch of shitty things like for example autosave and post revision feature witch is messing in db. It took me one whole week to make it all as I want it to be. And this annoying guy, a mod on wordpress forums Otto42 who always says everything new about it is good and should not be changed. :Oh crap

I am glad that it is always being updated. I never had any major problems since I started using WordPress almost five years ago.

I am also using WordPress as a CMS to develope sites for clients.

your telling me windows never has updates?

automate your shit, automatically upgrade your sites when a new version comes out.

or dont use the software, write your own
