Well I had a solution to help keep everyones videos "in" their members areas, but a flakey programmer fucked me over on that, so now I have to restart from scratch. Hopefully will have a new solution developed within a month. Have a few prospects I am talking to, to get the ball rolling again.

Working adult in my "spare time" involves 8-10 hour days of photoshoots, post-production, website updating and marketing. My typical workday consists of anywhere from 15-20 hours.

That's why...10 years later (this June)...we're still in the game and making bank.

Working a bylaw enforcement day job is a recession-proof way of not keeping all the eggs in one basket.

i think your problem is that you need a calculator. you see... if you had a calculator, you'd understand that your story doesn't add up. you'd know this because you'd quickly figure out that it doesn't take that much money to offer the same security as a shitty, unskilled job handing out parking tickets. and that if you are making so much money putting in 12 hrs days in your time off.... its simple logic that you would devote the rest of the week to that and make many times more money. but you dont. instead, you check to see if people put enough money in their parking meters.

Secondly, the guys I work with are all retired veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces (including myself) who are now working a second (or third) career doing a thankless job for additional income.

Myself, I took the job during a time that iBill fucked over our company - and have continued working it for a variety of reasons (job security, outdoor physical exercise, good group of guys I work with...several of whom are now personal friends).

Yet, oddly enough... find myself explaining something to someone who obviously has little more than an unknown agenda based on factless assumptions.

Yes, you're right...tube sites would continue to flourish regardless if they were banned or not.

However, the way I see it - allowing them to participate in a webmaster forum such as GFY gives the impression of endorsement for their practices and business model.
