the new Terminator flick

CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP
The writers and directors should only be allowed to write for 12 year olds from now on or do find Nemo movies :thumbsup

I know it sounds funny from someone in porn saying that seeing that we are not exactly known for our writing....well other then "hello mr pizza man, ohh whats that you have a big cock?) bla bla LOL :1orglaugh

But fuck me what a let down! :Oh crap

mikesinner 05-25-2009 04:42 PM

I thought it was pretty good but it wasn't meant to be a serious movie. The storyline had already been overdone by the third movie.

BFT3K 05-25-2009 04:51 PM

The overall theme for all of the previous Terminator flicks is "Man vs Machines" with lots of special effects.

In the latest Terminator movie, the premise is "Man vs Machines" with lots of special effects.

How were you let down?

_Richard_ 05-25-2009 04:53 PM

i heard the boy in white armour rewrote most of the movie?

There were a couple of hot chicks in it but I don't think I even saw one cleavage shot.

The director is just like the guy who did the latest Star Trek, they are action directors but not really story tellers. Not that it's a bad thing, but the Terminator movies and Star Trek got popular because of the premise and the characters, not because they were action packed. In fact, they all had horrible special effects and action for their times. The first terminator was low budget and expected to fail, just like Star Trek, and even Star Wars.

If the haters cant see it dont bother explaining.

Terminator much like star trek actually does have a rather complicated storyline,

You do understand this is meant as part 1 of a 3 part series right? You did realize that Marcus Wright was the main character in the movie and it's really about him. If you saw the first movie and liked it and you are now quibbling about plot lines and "un-believable" things happening in this one, well then there's no helping you. I mean if you bought into the original plot of machines taking over the world and sending a robot with human flesh on it back into the past to kill the mother of a yet un-born leader of the future human resistance then you really shouldn't be bitching about much.

SomeCreep 05-25-2009 05:20 PM

I thought it was pretty good, except for the ending, which was weak sauce.

mikesinner 05-25-2009 05:32 PM

I liked the part where they computer generated a young Arnold Schwarzenegger.

They are missing several elements in the movie, a lot actually....it was just overall very very weak.
Not to mention that they should have started this whole damn thing before the actual war, im sure they decided to NOT do that to be able to do a Prequel later, which is just too bad.

James Cameron come back and take care of the rest please lol

TiltMaster 05-25-2009 05:44 PM

LOL terminator salvation was by FAR the best movie so far this year ... It was written well and special effects were excellent

Iron Fist 05-25-2009 06:08 PM

It's because the ending was SUPPOSED to be the new terminator killing John Connor, but that got leaked so they had to rewrite the ending to what it was now, and also, they wanted Christian Bale to play the part of the New Terminator, but he didn't want any of that and said, if he was going to be in the movie at all then he plays John Connor or nothing. So they ended up rewriting him back into the movie, since the role of John Connor was actually pretty small until the rewrite.

The movie in it's current state sucks... but what can do you when you got a whiny bitch for a lead actor.

Yeah, Christian Bale sucks it. The movie would have been better if they killed him off in the end, and spun off the 1/2 human 1/2 machine guy's character off as the star for future Terminator movies. He was a much better character.

Then how would John Connor send Kyle Reese back in time 11 years later to save Sarah Connor and impregante her if he's dead you dumbass? Besides Connor doesn't die until July 4, 2032

Well yeah! Just think... the plot was supposed to be, that the new Terminator admires John Connor so much so that he grafts his likeness over his own and essentially "becomes" John Connor, with no one the wiser...

That would of been the best and could of spun off a decent TV series and multiple more Terminator movies.. but oh well.

:Oh crap:Oh crap:Oh crap

Diomed 05-25-2009 09:54 PM

I am disappointed it's rated PG-13,

and I haven't even seen it yet.

Regardless,

going to be some nice eye candy :thumbsup

Rick Diculous 05-25-2009 10:10 PM

Can't wait to see it despite the critics

Shey 05-25-2009 10:25 PM

I can't wait to see it because I think it's going to be fun and action packed. But I'm not expecting greatness, it's ONE MORE Terminator flick for fuck's sake! As if the previous ones were Oscar winning writing/acting performances LOL!

GatorB 05-25-2009 10:29 PM

Just a question. Would anyone here be just a bit put off about sending some guy back in time to fuck your mom?
