Don't u understand that by pushing x-sells you are loosing the most loyal pornbuyers?

Many of them are already lost for this industry for a long time.
That's the most devoted audience which bought porn for years and was loyal for legal sources of it.

So each webmaster should check all his links and remove those with hidden x-sells or blacklisted for doing unauthorized transactions.

Do, please

mikesinner 05-26-2009 11:10 PM

Well then, give us a list of sponsors that don't do it.

xxxdesign-net 05-26-2009 11:12 PM

I don't know about in plain view x-sales.. but there's no doubt that anything sneaky, partially hidden will scare off and deter a number of internet porn consumers from buying again once they see the charges on their credit card ...

pixovore 05-26-2009 11:13 PM

very true...

It's all about greed.

fuzebox 05-26-2009 11:43 PM

Uh, xsells have represented a massive percentage of overall porn sales for many years. You seriously expect dozens of multi million dollar companies to change their business model?

read carefully. i'm talking about hidden ones (pre-checked check-boxes under join button, which can't be noticed)

not many companies are doing them, only a few shady ones.

something like this

That's not what your thread title said. You are talking about people who are fraudently processing credit cards which really doesn't have much to do with paysite memberships or xsells.

It really would be great if someone makes a list of sponsors who you should avoid then.

You know the producers of mainstream movies, Tv and music are playing that same fiddle all the while Rome is burning.

Well what I meant was that webmasters rather earn $100 for a sale then $30.

So its about greed when it comes to webmasters and criminal shit when it comes to a few stupid programs.

right, but in this case webmster is participator of a crime. and he's in the weakest position. let me explain why.

look, only 2 types of companies are involved into this mess:
- new or unstable ones, which actually found a way of getting easy money. they create technical sites, involve traffic in all possible ways, bang people's cards and tomorrow they will just quit this biz and move their techniques to another spheres or go to jail (which i hope one day will happen).
- old dying ones (like MaxCash), which have no idea how to make money these days, but they have the same appetites as yesterday and they do all they can do to make a coin today, because they know tomorrow they will be out of this biz.

webmasters which were working for years and have well established sites full of bookmarks (i.e. customers which were buying porn for years and making them thousands of dollars all that time) send their traffic to such phony programs and they get their $100 per sign up, but they lose this traffic forever. FOR EVER. that guy which lost his money one time won't buy porn anymore and he'll also tell other guys do not buy porn. and he will find a free one, even in better quality and in bigger number, it's the easiest thing to do these days.

so these $100 are too low price webmasters getting for traffic which possibly could make (and actually have been made) few thousands per year. so it's not a moral aspect only, they are getting 100 dollars instead of making thousands.

MrDeiz 05-27-2009 01:49 AM

and if they cheat on surfers they most probably also cheat on you

TeenCat 05-27-2009 02:10 AM

true that people pushing hidden xsells needs to be pushed to the face also ... if surfer who was buying porn is charged for something he didnt bought, and he is charged on more sites, i doubt that he will buy anything again, anywhere ... and that maxcash ... its true? if yes thats really very sick and sad from company like maxcash is ... :2 cents:

MrDeiz 05-27-2009 02:34 AM

just to remind you how huge this mess is.

that's some stats i got by not the biggest one hidden x-sells player

pocketkangaroo 05-27-2009 02:37 AM

No one is going to change anything. As long as they are able to bang cards they will.

Take the time and fill out a complaint.

alan-l 05-27-2009 02:38 AM

OK, you might be right, but I doubt you'll have much success. X-sells are here to stay, like it or not

MrDeiz 05-27-2009 12:50 PM

yeah, just wanted to bring some attention to this. hope at least one webmaster pulled his x-sell links
