They could conceivably nuke Seoul and kill millions of people we have a long relationship with, or nuke China and start WWIII between the two biggest kids on the block.

One of the main reasons Iran and N Korea are thumbing their nose at the world vis a vis WMD, is because they know our military is stretched to the breaking point in Iraq and we have no real military option to use against them.

This is just one of the many reasons going to war in Iraq was a colossal mistake.

we are talking about Korea right? Iran has also been the same and been up to the same since the ayatollah took power. their central mosque has had a sign for decades that says "death to america" - its not anything new for them to be defiant.

the interesting thing about your remarks is that these are global security issues. not US issues. Iran has also been defying the IAEA for many years and lied about their programs... which they continue to do.

the world thinks they can win by playing nice and by playing defense with people are clearly playing offense and that's not true in anything.

the world waits for the US to get involved to deal with these things.. then they sit back and criticize us for being involved. ... in the meantime, two of worlds most unstable regimes are going nuclear right in front of everyone, while no one takes action in any form other than passing UN Resolution after Resolution which they've been doing for over 2 decades.
