Places to sell used camera equip? and Servicing older camera reccomendations?
 

I am curious where one can buy and sell camera equip besides ebay ....

any good sources?



Also curious if anyone can reccomend places where to get some older cameras serviced / repaired or is manuf the only way?

Canon 10D Bodies... 1 Needs a new shutter and other don't know... Just tyring tofigure out if worth fixing or selling off to someone who can fix it or is willing to pay manuf rates...

No suggestions offhand for buying and selling, but I have a couple for repairs.

I don't know where you are located, but Strauss Photo-Technical in Washington, DC is an absolutely topnotch place that I've used several times over the past 35 years. I'm sure there are other good ones, but these guys have been able to fix problems and locate oddball parts that nobody else has been able to find.

Well craigslist comes to mind. There is usually a long list for photo/video in my town. Like anything, ck pricing against amazon to make sure you're getting a deal and know what your buying...

No shipping with Craigslist and ya see before ya buy.... :2 cents:

We have a photo shop here in town that specializes in high end cameras and video. They sell used and take stuff in on trade.

I would imagine any decent sized city having something similar.
