Pretty simple idea that will definitely add some 'stickiness' to your site.

Did Mr. Chi City come through for you and the voice work?

I know he was the right guy..

I think he got semi-offended when I told him about some "negro voice work" though... lolz.

Good idea, and awesome domain, but bad execution, you could gain so much more grounds if it wasn't attached or redirected to a porn site...

I hear ya... I've grappled with that for a while. I decided to link it up with hoes.com to further increase the stickiness of the site. That's why Werd only deals with adult related terms. It's not just another urbandictionary. There will be synergy between terms and porn categories later... I haven't released that yet.

I also plan to take the redirect off of werd.com.

If google didn't hate duplicate content, I'd have everything available on both domains.

I envy you, although a good domain for what you're using it for... I saw it and instantly had tons of ideas running through my head on what I could do with it... I'll give you $9.95 for it :D

that's not what Google meant/means by "duplicate content"

for example, almost all news online is syndicated (AP, Reuters etc) and therefore, "duplicate content" and there is no negative impact to syndicating news or for that matter... having a large portion of the text on multiple pages of the same site (i.e. summary linking to the full story)

Googles addressing of "duplicate content" like 1/2 of the myths people get their panties in a twist over, is something to address spam and blatant attempts at manipulating search results... not legitimate or syndicated content and sites.

:2 cents:
