Hiring: Traffic Manager

Here is what I am looking for specifically.

1. I am looking for an individual who can handle some site(s) for me in link building, and building up some traffic. Whether through blogs, submits, link building whatever.

2. I proposal written out on your game plan. Including your month/3/6/12.

3. Cost. Whether you are going to deliver results for a certain dollar amount, or work by the hour.

4. Track all progress. This includes detailed spread sheets for sites, and I want to know where the links are coming from, and results. I am not looking for flash in the pan buying traffic, or hit bot crap. Over time things can be tweaked, and perfected.

5. If you need some extra help, you can use one of my part timers to help you.

I am not looking for instant results. I am specifically looking for long tail investment that will show results, and sustain them, over time.

If you can't write up a proposal for this, no need to bother contacting me. I am looking for a commitment, and hopefully long term thing. I am also looking for a well rounded traffic plan. Not just blogs. Not just TGP and so on.

Fire away ladies.

Barefootsies 06-01-2009 01:07 AM

Also, affiliate or PHP/CMS/programming background, would be a plus. But not necessary.

Thanks.

LoveSandra 06-01-2009 01:28 AM

good luck with that.

Thanks.

I have had people offer me it before over the years, but could handle everything myself. However, I am getting to the point, including aff prog, that it is getting a bit much.

I am looking for a contracted dude/tte who can deliver long tail results. Not just buying ad spots. I can do that myself.

slurpee 06-01-2009 01:40 AM

Nobody that could do this, can give a quote or a price without more info. I would imagine any emails from this post that don't ask for more info are just snake oil salesmen.

Its impossible to give you a quote for services to 'develop or maintain' a network, when there is no network to analyze or not sites to inspect to see what they are working with.

Telling everyone to contact you, and if they cant write it up properly, dont hit you up, is kind of confusing. Basically they have NO CLUE what needs to be done, OR how to do it, because they haven't seen the tools, the sites, the domains, or any resources that may be there allready.

Its like saying 'I'll pay you to throw this ball" but not giving any info, its impossible to find a 'solid assessment' of who can throw it.

How big is the ball?
How far do you want it thrown?
What would you like to throw it with?
Is there a target for the ball?
Can I even lift the ball?
Is there a certain way you want the ball thrown?

Not knocking, I wish you the best of luck, im just saying how unlikely it is that this post will get anyone with a clue. You can't get a price for work if you are extremely vague about that work, if vague, the people responding can't say for sure what they can do for you. Unless they only use their own networks to build yours, then they could comment or price, because they know what they have to work with.

Again best of luck, but I wouldn't write anyone off who couldn't give a solid plan or assessment, infact the opposite, if someone responds to this with great accolade about what they can do for the network, without knowing it, is probably completely full of shit.

We all know that neither of the two threads he's opened today (traffic manager, php/smarty programmer) will actually lead to anyone actually being "hired" by him. At least nobody who exists in the real world, who isn't imaginary. Looks like another ploy to me :2 cents:

Thanks bud.

I am looking for them to start slow. I will provide a few websites and have them work on getting things rolling on those, if I see some nice results, and think this is the person who can handle what I am looking for then I will add on more.

Luckily in adult, I concentrate on a handful of niches. So you do not have to be all things to all people. You concentrate on the links, and traffic sources for those few niches, and link build, and sniff out other traffic sources. Whether that includes ad spots, or something else down the line.

Over time, instead of just handling a handful of sites, I will turn more over and they can do it for all sites. This would also include an affiliate program down the line. Although this would be invite only. I am also looking to buy up some site in the niche(s) as well, so that would play into this.

I see where you are coming from JDough. Good feedback. :thumbsup

Good luck with your search, sounds like a great job.

moeloubani 06-01-2009 04:56 PM

so you're looking for someone that doesn't know how to build a website but knows how to pull tons of traffic to one, because after all if he knew how to build the site + draw the traffic then why would he need you? just curious hombre

Just out of curiosity,

did anyone who sent this guy a proposal get a response that was actually geared towards him hiring you?

Pathetic.

Agent 488 06-02-2009 08:31 PM

no one who knows how to do this is going to do this for pay.
