Hosting

What are some good hosting companies for a paysite?

Korak 06-02-2009 11:50 AM

Techie Media is working out for us...

We're using Techie Media and are happy with them. We started out on CaveCreek and they were good but their support billing was pretty rotten. We switched and have been happy with the service at Techie.

see my sig , for the best hosting offers.

Calico Jack 06-02-2009 09:02 PM

See sig for Naked Hosting...great prices, amazing service and lots of bang for your buck! There's plenty of happy GFY members who use them (and there's some great specials running at the moment)!

bmchunu 06-03-2009 02:37 AM

visit http://www.webhostingtalk.com and search around for reviews of whatever companies you end up short listing.

Most important factors are uptime (obviously) and the datacentre back bone ... pointless having a 100Mbit unmetered server but you can't even push half that because their backbone is either crap or saturated.

pornocruto 06-03-2009 06:55 AM

Try Zenex5ive.com

They are running some specials in another thread on here.

Hey, we would be happy to help you out at AmeriNOC (formerly Phatservers)! If you run a search on the different hosting companies, you'll be able to get an idea of the kind of service that you'll get at each company. To run a search on our support staff, look up Phatservers, as AmeriNOC is a recent name change. You'll see that our clients are genuinely happy with the speedy support that they get from us. Our guys are the best in the business, and we'll be glad to help you out with any questions that you might have.

If you want to discuss our hosting plans, send me an email at [email protected] or drop me a line on ICQ at 421864528

We're currently running a special where you can get 3 months free on any virtual plan if you pay quarterly. It's limited to the first 1,000 clients who sign up, so check it out at www.amerinoc.com

don't take some cheap bullshit company to host your paysite!
take some company with reputation and experience

I've heard good stuff about natnet, isprime, techiemedia, phatservers, mojo.

Take2Hosting 06-06-2009 02:06 AM

isprime has been around for a long time. As has choopa. Either would probably work well.

As noted above, check out webhostingtalk (WHT). A ton of reviews -- if you find a host you'd like reviews above just pop them in the search box on WHT.

the best of the best is Cyberwurx. We've been with them for about 8 years and have tried others for different projects, and we always end up moving everything to Cyberwurx. Highly recommended.

Steve OSS 06-17-2009 10:28 AM
