What to do if a design is 30+ days overdue and was started 2 months ago?
 

What would you do if you have been trying to get a site designed and paid ur deposit etc but NOTHING as been delivered after frequent promises and being messed around. The work was given BASED on the fact that I must have it by a deadline 28th of October. This company is well known on GFY.

Checked up on them and found out they have not paid 3 of their designers for work...

...and here we go again.:1orglaugh

Called, ICQED, been made promises, never met. They keep taking new designers on board on salaries and then never paying them, I have spoke to quite a few.

One guy is owed 4k for last months salary and NOT been paid. they say there is a problem with western union (apparently a 28 day problem).


They have just took on more designers on salary basis, not good

Took my money 60 days ago and STILL HAVE NOT DELIVERED.

Anyone else had a bad experience with these guys...

they took on an extra 2 SITES of mine whic hwhere delivered AFTER THE DEADLINE and ONYL because i managed to contact the designer she was outsourcing the work to. He had stopped work because of NO MONEY

Dammit.. I swear I almost don't want to buy designs from ANYONE at GFY because most designers are all fucked up, don't pay, don't deliver after long periods, etc.. At this rate there won't be any design companies left worth using, and the others can raise their prices. Its a design shake-out.

Fucking tell me about it, the shit that as been delivered to me thanks to some designers on gfy is unbelievable.

There are still some very good ones. TGF is good but very booked :) Bruno from dickmansdesign.com is also very good to work with. And my portfolio site will be up shortly as well. There are still designers with flawless customer relations and that deliver ON TIME, EVERYTIME. :2 cents:

And Darren, you're right, but my point was that they were overpriced even if they did deliver. Really sucks to be cheated out of your cash like this :(

to be honest its NOT the cash I am worried about. The point was that I had a deadline one that needed meeting and i promised affiliates the site would be ready etc, I LET them down which loses me MORE MONEY in the long term
