At least as far back as I can remember, I've never heard a US president greet Mulsims or quote the holy Quran.

He's HARD on the Mulsim nuts. Hope it pays off. Too bad in a few years some new white asshole will step in and undo everything Obama *may* do.

The sad thing is, it doesn't matter how much Obama tries to mend relationships with Muslims the extremists will keep doing their thing. Hopefully it will help the average Muslim person think better of the USA though.

IMO you miss the entire point... It matters not what groups of people do in time of peace. The interesting thing is how those groups behave, in time of conflict.

If you wonder how muslims will behave when conflict and tension builds, I can tell you that they will become more 'fundamentalistic', and look to strong religious leaders, who tell them that it's ok to kill the infidels. Islam cannot coincide with western culture, and that's exactly why they are here in Europe right now...

I just watched some of the speech and he did mention "a new world" a few times.
