Watches

What's your favorite watch? Post 'em whether you own it or just lust after it!

Here's mine:

Nice clean elegant design. Tungsten carbide, scratch resistant, I think you could even run it over with car.

Inspired by this thread: http://www.gfy.com/fucking-around-and-business-discussion/909163-selling-sig-watch-amazon.html

And yes, I will sell my sig for life for that watch :thumbsup :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

You'll fit right in with the early 90's crowd.

You can talk about Seinfeld episodes and funny skits from In Living Color over dinner, where they're playing I Wanna Sex You Up on the radio!

CYF 06-06-2009 04:04 PM

lol.

I don't care if there's some new trendy watch out, that's the one I like because it's simple and elegant looking and I'm not into the diamond encrusted bling bling.

Why don't you post the one you like? Curious to see the different watches people are into.

Depends what kind of mood I'm in really.

If I want to get the ladies, I obviously choose a "bad guy" watch to suit the image.

http://www.fanboy.com/archive-images...ader-watch.jpg

However I'll also bring along a backup watch. Sometimes when I tire of girls practically (who am I kidding, literally) throwing themselves at me, I will go go to the bathroom and change personas. For this I like my flower bezel Hello Kitty watch to let them know I'm not interested.

If I'm going to a business meeting I always wear the watch that shows how serious I am.

haha! :1orglaugh:1orglaugh OMG I remember thinking i was the shit owning a calculator watch haha .. and anyone remember when Swatch watches were the in thing? lol i was so spoiled that i owned 6 swatches and a coca cola watch (made by swatch).. haha..

I'll snap a picture of my current tag in a bit and if i were to pick any watch i'd want it would be a rolex but not just any rolex. For that type of money i would have to really like the look of it

The Breitling Emergency version contains a radio transmitter for civil aviation use which broadcasts on the 121.5 MHz distress frequency and serves as a back-up for ELT-type airborne beacons. (For military users, Breitling has equipped the Emergency with a miniaturized transmitter operating on the 243 MHz military frequency.) Under normal conditions—flat terrain or calm seas—the signal can be picked up at a range of up to 90 nautical miles (167 km) by search aircraft flying at 20,000 feet (6,000 m). As of 1 February 2009, the Cospas-Sarsat Satellite System will no longer monitor the 121.5/243 MHz frequency; however, the signal transmitted by the Emergency was never strong enough to be picked up by satellite, and Breitling has announced that, as these frequencies will still be monitored by aviation, particularly during the localization phase of a rescue attempt, there are no plans to modify the signal's frequency.

You have to sign papers when you buy this watch stating that you are responsible for a false distress signal and will pay the massive fine.
