Surfin' for smut in parking lots...
 

The other day I had to park in a public parking lot in the downtown core while running a few errands.

As I was walking out of the parkin' lot - I walked past a parked minivan with a guy sittin' in the driver's seat, laptop on his lap...surfin' porn (the screen was obvious in view as I walked by).

I stopped for a moment, turned and jokingly said, "Mom kick you outta the basement again?"

The guy laughed and said, "Naw, its cheaper to use the free wifi from the hockey arena across the street than pay my IP bill."

I laughed and said, "Smart thinkin'," and continued on my way.

Which makes me wonder - how common is this among surfers these days? Is it a sign of the economic times?

Maybe we need a new niche that specifically caters to the parking lot crowd? :1orglaugh

I personally think he was a webmaster updating his blog or something living out of a van

Our local library has free wi-fi and I know a couple of people that park in the parking lot after hours and do that.

Everyday I see my neighbor sitting in his garage with nothing but a lawn chair and a laptop.. I always thought he was prob trying to steal someone's internet (or his wife is driving him crazy LOL)
