Daniel Craig did a good job in this movie and helps to make it a movie worth checking out. If you are looking for a "blood and guts" ware movie then this one is not for you. Its more of a "Schindler's List" or "uprising" type film but no where near as good.

Plot

Daniel Craig stars as Tuvia Bielski, one of four Jewish brothers who escape from Poland into the forests of Belarus during World War II to lead a band of resistance fighters and create a safe haven for Jewish refugees. The real-life sanctuary established by the Bielski brothers saved more than 1,000 Jews from persecution and death. Edward Zwick directs this moving historical drama that also stars Liev Schreiber, Jamie Bell and George MacKay.

Cool, will check it out.

i thought it was very weak
the 56% RT rating does it justice
mentioning it in the same sentence with schindlers list give this movie way too much credit

Watched it the other day on DVD and thought it was pretty good and worth the rental. It's one of those movies you need to see the deeper meaning to really enjoy it. If you're there just for the visuals and dialogue it may seem a little bland. If you can step into the shoes of the characters and submerge yourself into the story of their plight, the movie becomes much more compelling.

Two friends were telling me about this movie last weekend. Told me to defo check it out. I'll buy it on DVD this week.

didnt watch yet but sound like a good one

Saw this weekend and it was pretty good.

It was okay... but seemed to drag on and on and on in some parts.... comparing this movie to Schindlers List is stupid. This movie is nowhere as good as Schindlers List.

Very good movie,food for the soul.Liev Schreiber is a very popular actor nowadays.Not to mention Daniel Craig.
