I think the best choice for you will be WIFI / WLAN. If your mobile device supports it...all other possibilities through the operators will cost - in my opinion - a lot more (roaming etc.)

good luck - and let me know the best choice when you know it...

Vodafone "super large" should do the trick.
But use WIFI/LAN each time you can since the overage in MB bandwith can make you poor real quick....

yep, buy go with vodafone/mobilkom (that's vip croatia) + wifi/lan

vodafone has a service called vodafone passport, which is free in the most of the countries with the vodafone/mobilkom coverage and it allows you to use no-charge-roaming. try calling your vip postpaid customer service...

BT Openzone offers wide coverage in Europe through it's partners

T-Mobile has more partners than Vodafone but either works well in Europe.

europe is not usa, if your search for a solution that works in every country you will find nothing cheap and pay by megabyte or even worse by kilobyte.

if you know you will be longer in a particular country and wanna use your line heavy, like multiple hours per day, not just email you should checkout some of the local prepaid rates, you get like 5gig hsdpa/umts deals for 19-29 Euroz in germany, britain and france.

eastern europe, no idea..probably more expensive
